It's not about giving any QB a pass. It's about simply trying to be as fair as possible here and be as rational as possible.
Dak has great stats thus far. He looked great the first three games. But if one wants to be honest here, those first three opponents were total dogs.
We have now played two teams in a row that are playoff caliber and he's not looked nearly as sharp or good.

It's not invalid to note, it's true. He didn't look as sharp or good.
But is it invalid to note that the rest of the team looked just as bad? If the rest of the team played better, they'd all look better.
The defense held the Saints to 12, but they couldn't get off the field, and when the offense did get the ball it was ineffective.
Against GB the defense was horrible. The whole team stunk.
That's not an excuse, it's a fact. There's no excuse for any of them including Dak, I'm just saying it's not just the QB, it's the whole team.
So you're right about Dak's play, but it shouldn't all land on the QB's head when the rest of the team stunk it up as well.
