If Dak were playing, do you think they would've shut down Lamb for the rest of the games? Just curious.
Good question, I'm not sure. I kind of think a better QB may have been able to preserve Lamb a little bit throughout the season, instead on leaning so heavy.

when someone other than Dak Prescott starts at QB. Their only win came in the Covid year.
The offense has averaged 15.2 points per game in that span.

Meanwhile they are 4-1 in games Prescott has started.
The offense has averaged 37.6 points per game in that span.

I shall say no more. If one does not get it by now then one never shall.
Get what? That Dak is better than Cooper Rush, especially when we play the Eagles? I mean that's not exactly an earthshattering discovery here.

The problem is Dak can't play the Eagle 17 time in the regular season and then play them multiple times in the playoffs.

At some point, for some of you, it's going to become painfully obvious that Dak is nothing more than a decent QB that you absolutely cannot put expect to lead a team to a SB run nor is good enough to count on when the chips are down in big spots.

They will never get to this point. Or at the very least, admit that on here.

9 years and counting….

I mean I was behind Dak early in his career. I thought he could develop into an upper level QB given how he started his career but at some point, the evidence just started to mount that for all his stat stuffing, when the chips were down, he was just too inconsistent to count on in those spots. And when he did it year after year in big spots, well, you'd be a fool to not admit he is what he is and what that is ain't good enough.

When you have to reach the "Well, Dak is 4-1 against the Eagles since 2020" rationalization, I have to figure you are nearing the bottom of the excuse barrel, right?

Same here
I was happy to support Dak and Elliot early on when they were productive but it has been patently obvious that Elliot is done and Dak is not a great QB and shrinks under pressure in the playoffs.

Dak supporters at this point are Dak fans not Cowboys fans

Work day winding down so I decided to peek back in here. It remains obvious that some get it and some don't and never will. I will simply chuckle at the reaction to a simple statement of fact which (should) conclusively debunks the "the Cowboys are better with Cooper Rush at QB" nonsense that crops up whenever we win a game with Rush at QB. The stark difference in how they play against this one division rival was just about the most obvious evidence to the contrary that one could find. It's not about Dak being better than Rush.. No sane person can argue that he isn't. It's about how the team functions with Dak at the helm. The offense in particular.

This season unraveled for two reasons. 1) CeeDee Lamb missing training camp caused him to be far less of a weapon early on that he truly is and 2) The defense took way too long to grasp Zimmer's defense. Put that on Zimmer, put it on the players.. put it on Jerry if you want.. but it was obvious early on that there was a huge adjustment taking place. You could also throw in the rooks on the o-line and the injuries or even McCarthy completely botching the running back situation if you like. I guess it all goes into the pot and comes out poop stew. This was a disappointing season for a lot of reasons. But the world won't end and we got a little over 9 months before we get to see more football. I'm excited already!

3-5 vs 4-4 fact is they both stunk this year and one of the 2 is a less than a jag, problem was this year it was hard to tell which one

 Yeah 3-5 Dak was so hot that he was going to sweep the Eagles this year. You guys are living in the past.
