Six Cowboys make the Pro Bowl

How in ***'s name did Jason Peters make it?

He's not even half as good as Flozell.

Witten will be making his sixth straight trip, which is tied for the fourth-longest consecutive streak in franchise history with Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, Cliff Harris, John Niland and Rayfield Wright. He leads the Cowboys with 88 catches for 854 yards and is poised for his second 90-catch, 1,000-yard season in three years.

Witten has 954 yards, probably just a typo.

How any TE can have 88 receptions and only 1 TD is beyond me. :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

Anyone know if they replace the Pro Bowl players who are not allowed to play because they make it to the Super Bowl?

It's interesting looking at the linemen that made the team. I took a quick look at ESPN's analysis of the team, and they have Stinchcomb, Gurode, Davis and Peters as all not being worthy of the honor (and I only read the NFC East and South analyses).

Austin is totally under the radar. He is the #5 reciever in the NFL right now and the top NFC reciever. He has Fitz beat in every catagory but TD's 11 vs 12, and has Jackson beat in all but 2. I could care less about the pro bowl...there's only one bowl I care about.

How is Austin under the radar? He made it to the pro bowl.

I was gonna say, how does this guy make the assumption that Witten is going to have almost 150 yards against the Eagles? :laugh2:

I've been looking for the list of alternates, but cannot find the complete list yet. I'm just curious how all the Boys came in the voting.

not as a starter when he's a better reciever
Just the fact that no one knew who he was until five weeks into the season, stats or not, this is an accomplishment that ensures he is NOT under the radar.

Wow. How did Marshall make it over V.Jackson. Easily the most underrated WR in the league

Because for the 3rd season in a row, Marshall has 100+ catches.

Um, WHY?

Rice has 1,269 yards rushing at 5.3 YPC, plus 74 catches for 683 yards, and eight total TDs

Benson has 1,251 yards at 4.2 YPC, plus 17 catches for 111 yards, and six total TDs

Exactly- ray rice had almost 2000 yards from scrimmage this season. That's impressive, and much better than Benson's production.

He leads the NFC in gross yards per punt and net yards per punt.

I'll take McBriar's inside-the-20/touchback ratio over Lee's stats, but those aren't the things that get noticed (except by Sports Illustrated, which had a formula that indicated that McBriar was by far the NFL's best punter this season).

...has been the best punter in the league this year. High, long and more importantly consistent.

I have only witnessed one mistake by him this season where he out kicked the coverage on a line drive ball.

He shouldn't have taken the heat that was dished out over his holding duties.
