Well hopefully he already knows this. This where I was hoping jabril cox would be able to make a difference. He was a great in coverage at LSU but apparently he had not progressed and will be a healthy scratch again I assume.
We have guys who can cover and also not give up the big play.

I believe this is the week midnight strikes and the gold chariot turns back into a pumpkin for Purdy. Cowboys win this going away in the same way they won Monday Night. Cowboys 30-13....
I'm a so-called homer and worried about this game.

Yet there is a lot of stock being put into the fact that the Cowboys beat Tampa, who everyone is calling an terrible team after a week of declaring how there was zero chance the Cowboys were going to beat the Bucs. If they are going to do that, then it's fair to look at the teams the 49ers played.
Don’t recall anyone saying there was “zero” chance of beating the Bucs. Everyone was real down on the Cowboys after their horrific performance against a sub 500 Washington team that was playing with a rookie QB, making their first NFL start. The discussion is about 500 teams being able to score, not losing to sub 500 teams which is what the Cowboys did three times during the second half of the season.

Shanahan gets the most out of his QBs. Molds his game pan to their strengths.

he even got scatter-armed Kaepernick to the Super Bowl.

QBs will just be more efficient in his offense. Add in the loaded roster around Purdy and you get your answer.

His numbers look great but I still think he is a potential liability in this game for them.

Kaepernick made the Super Bowl with Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman running the offense. Shanahan was in Washington with his father that year.

Ability is not a constant. Players can get better, they can also decline. It comes down to the quality of coaching and the commitment of that player to improve.

Right now, the coaches are using him in the way that plays to his strengths. Most importantly, they have Purdy believing in himself.

With that said, look for them to put in Garoppolo should Purdy struggle. With the 49ers playing to a home crowd, this move could energize them. The Cowboys defense must not let down under any circumstance and remain aggressive in stopping the run because they will run all game long regardless.

That would be music to my ears. The one thing watching the Niners play this year a lot is they are a 2nd half team. They make adjustments and start to over power the other teams. I hope the Cowboys can do the same. Might me up by halftime but I hope we don't take the foot off the peddle if we are. Keep the pressure on them and leave no doubt.
Thats why I liked having Peters..he seemed to keep our offensive line fresh, especially through the middle of the season.

When he's a rookie and thats the bulk of the tape that's what you'd do if you want details that should be important to your gameplan.
I don’t deny that. I’m just saying you can’t assume he is what he was in college. He’s now playing with elite NFL talent. That matters.
