They have to eventually decline, right? Right?! Right!?!

Who are we kidding, they'll franchise Jimmy G, Brady will play this season and next, and then Jimmy G will emerge as a franchise QB and BB will coach/GM till he's 70 (even tho he has said a few times we doesn't want to coach to that age) and win 5 more rings. Lol

I'm hoping when Brady retires BB retires, fingers crossed. We might have 5 super bowls in the 90's if egos from the owner and coach did not get in the way.

Amen. Our owner should've been bowing down to JJ the way Kraft does with BB. If you ever hear Kraft talk about BB he can't help himself. He gushes over him like a schoolboy over his first love. I envy that, so so much. Kraft is a fantastic owner. Stays the **** outta Bill's kitchen.

Dak got to be a game manager last season. A role Romo was never really afforded... bad defenses, awful offensive lines, bad receivers, nonexistent running games, bum coaches. Want to see the picture of Romo's career, look at andrew luck the past 2-3 years.

Complete BS. It blows my mind how y'all actually think this way. Don't take this personally, I'm not attacking you. It's not your fault that the media has pounded their narrative into our brains so much that a lot of you think it's truth. First, throw the defense out of this conversation. The Cowboys success last year was because of Dak. How many teams could have shot down the running game last year but couldn't because of the #4 factor. How many clutch runs and throws did #4 make last year? How many teams game planned to stop or try to force him to make a mistake? I know some of you are still hurt that #9 didn't get his chance last year, but please get over it. Tony had his chances. True, he carried the team several years, but he also cost the team on more than one occasion. I remember when they were calling Russell Wilson a manager, If something isn't normal , like a rookie QB leading a team to a 13-3 record and and setting the league on fire, people start with the manager stuff. It's th logical thing to do, even if it's wrong.

I do. He's already said he is deciding to play on a season-to-season basis at this point. He's ravaged by injuries and is good to miss at least two games a year.

Just hard to see him wanting to leave when it's pretty much going to be them of the pats in the sb usually.

What Dak didn't do was throw the backbreaking INT. Romo is and always was a gun slinger and he was fun to watch because of it. However, with all the highlight reel plays also came a lot of bad throws and game cinching turnovers. Dak was steady. He may have not made the insane plays that Romo did, but he also didn't lose any. He took what the defense gave him and didnt force much and was very successful. That said, there were plenty of games we found ourselves down and he brought us back to the point that I almost felt like it was the early 90s again. I found myself expecting us to find a way to win every game which I haven't felt since then.
Barring some crazy regression, Dak is plenty good enough to take us home. Need any proof that a QB simply needs to not make big mistakes to win a SB? Look no further than Eli (x2), Flacco, Dilfer, and possibly Wilson ....just to name a few quite unspectacular QBs with rings. And I think Dak may be much better than all of those.

and by the way:

Cowboys success last year was because of #21 making plays and #4 not making mistakes.
