I’m a fan of Dak, but I’m not giving him a 4 year deal. Don’t want to go thru this again in 4 years.
I honestly do not believe this will be an issue in 4 years.

This situation, at least IMO, is just perfect timing of misfortune:
1. The expiring CBA
2. The rate of which QB pay has increased the past few years
3. A young QB that will justifiably blow the QB market wide open in the next few years
4. Dak will not be coming off a contract where he was completely and utterly underpaid

So looking at each:
1. The CBA will likely be a few years away by the time Dak's 4 year contract is up
2. Eventually the increase of pay for QB will slow down after Mahomes resigns
3. Mahomes is a "Generational" type QB, which means the likelihood of another amazingly great young QB is pretty slim
4. In 4 years, Daks contract could be easily out of the Top-10 of NFL QBs, but he will not be coming off a contract that paid him "peanuts" (my NFL standards)

I could be wrong, but I think Dak and/or his agent is trying to take advantage of an unusual situation.

I have to go through negotiations to get paid almost for every check I make.
If this is wearing you thin... I don't know what to say.
U have a vested interest in our own check. Big difference here......
