I would be shocked if Lance isnt starting next week. I mean if McCarthy can turn Lance into a starting caliber player, or at least have him put together a few games where he looks like it that could be the thing that gets McCarthy an interview with another team next year. A coach can have a lot of lives if they have a reputation of developing QBs.

Can’t trade him he’s a FA after the season and if he wasn’t a FA no one would trade for him. We need to start him next week and give him a full game. No one wants to see Rush anymore. His performance was beyond pathetic.

Jerry used a 4th round pick on him, put the guy in and let him have these last 8 games. He needs the reps against starters with starters.

They spent a 4th rd pick on him. If it was even close in performance, he'd get the call over Rush. The coaches get to see these players in practice. That tells me how horrible Lance must be.

I saw enough in pre-season to know that he's BAD but at this point nothing to lose by playing him. He at least offers the running dynamic that none of the other bums do.

Look it's either Rush or Lance for the rest of the season. That's what you get. It's like the Model T. You can have any color you want as long as it's black. You can have any QB you want, but it will suck.

My hot take, just start Lance. He's not worse than Rush at passing, but he might break out for a few runs, could be fun to watch. Regardless, fingers crossed for the 3-14 finish!

We have got a shot at going all the way up to the 1 spot in the draft. That would be awesome.

3 and 14 would be awesome. That number 1 spot would be incredible.

It was a ridiculous trade by our inept GM. Shanahan couldn't get anything out of Lance and the 49ers gave up on him despite trading up for him in the first. But, but some Cowboys fans are still holding out hope Lance, with MM and this Cowboys team will show he's a quality starter, but the 49ers couldn't. lol

The ridiculous trade was the one that the 49ers made to get Lance in the 1st place.
