There was an argument on that he was throwing interception because he was playing with the JV squad. Same results with the starters. Is there any trade value here?
ZERO TRADE VALUE. 3rd stringer. on the last year of his contract, who just showed again, he doesn't belong. what's the trade value? a 16th round pick?

No reason to play Rush. He is what he is. And he’s not good.

Let Lance finish out the season, he either does good or doesn’t.

Then we have 3 bad QBs. One severely overpaid.

What project? He was done when we didn’t pick up his 5th year option. We hoped he’d do great in preseason and someone would trade for him Because he is a free agent in waiting….period. Unless he helps us win games this year (which many fans don’t want to see), there is no project, just a really stupid waste of a draft pick that could have brought us a quality RB.

Lance turned a 10-yard loss into a 1-yard loss. That’s not so bad. Not a great play - a ‘better-than-bad’ play?

He could have thrown the ball away and not lost any yards and turned a bad play into a "not so bad, at least we didn't lose any yards play"

Can’t trade him he’s a FA after the season and if he wasn’t a FA no one would trade for him. We need to start him next week and give him a full game. No one wants to see Rush anymore. His performance was beyond pathetic.
This is what fans are missing. The only thing him playing and balling out foes us maybe he nets a decent comp pick. But that’s iffy. More likely he shows flashes and Jerry signs him to be the highest paid backup in history. He’s not replacing Dak - Jerry crossed the Rubicon when he extended Dak.

They need to start him for the rest of the season. See if there is any value whatsoever in that ridiculous trade. He either makes enough progress to resign or they move on. That's all you got. Makes zero sense to start Rush who will also be a FA.

He looked better than Rush.

If he played the whole game they'd have more than 40 yards from the QB. I guarantee that.
We need the worst one starting so hopefully we lose, our draft pick continues to go up, and Jerry decides we need to draft a QB in the first round. Even if the new QB has to sit behind our albatross for 2 years so he can learn how not to play the position

Done? No. It just barely got started!

If Rush isn't much better next week I'd bench him and start Lance.
Ditto I mean give the guy a chance to actually practice all week as a starter coming to the game knowing he's not gonna be pulled every other series just say hey you're gonna be in it all four quarters go out and play I don't care if they run rpos Wildcat hardly throw the ball I mean it would be nice just to see something different I mean the seasons over for fans you might as well get something out of it let's see some of these young players go I want to see more of Flournoy and Mingo etcetera let's bring them out let CD lamb heal up.. I would love to see a real offensive coordinator you know demote Mike for schottenheimer and tell him to go out and have some fun with this and use Turpin and deuce Vaughn like creatively get them an open space along with a mobile quarterback I mean it would just be fun to watch it won't mean nothing in the grand scheme of things but let's see it...

What if Mike McCarthy wants to be considered for a coaching opportunity somewhere when this season is over? Doesn’t he owe it to himself and his team to do all he can do to win football games? He has not been offered an extension by the Cowboys. An improved draft position for Dallas doesn’t mean a damned thing to him.

No. You play him from here on out. Either you’re pleasantly surprised or you’re season continues to tank and you still get a high draft pick which you possibly use on a QB.
Yes he threw an interception but he’s looks to have better velocity on the ball compared to rush or even Dak

Big problem is WR’s get no separation
