and a Jerry lap dance...…….yup, my sources are saying a 2nd rounder and 2 slaps to the mouth get the deal done.

I certainly could be dead wrong…but I strongly believe there is NO WAY Sean Payton is the next HC of the Dallas Cowboys. The way that guy has been a HC in the past allowed him to have authority over the locker room, roster, and other areas that most NFL HCs have…except in Dallas.
In order for Sean Payton or any other big name NFL head coach to come here, major changes will need to happen in the way this organization is run. Folks this organization is an outlier. NFL head coaches who are used to having normal HC authority don’t come to Dallas.
Of the 8 head coaches Jerry Jones has hired, only two ever had the authority of a normal NFL HC- Jimmy and the Big Tuna. And the only reason Parcells had it was because JJ was preoccupied with building his stayjum.
If Sean Payton is coming to Dallas it means Jerry has decided to take a lesser role. Anybody here believe that’s happening?
Parcells had more authority than Dave Campo, Chan Gailey, Barry Switzer, Wade Phillips, Jason Garrett and now Big Mac has had. It wasn’t just money.Same was said about Parcells. $ talks
that last line is actually untrue. Dick Vermeil, and the Tuna did it, and Andy Reid. It can be done but very unlikely.Ok, give the guy his due. He found Romo for us. He took an injured Drew Brees that SD did not want to re-sign and turned him into a first ballot HOF QB. When Brees arrived in New Orleans, he wasn't even considered a pro bowl QB. Sean Payton absolutely gets the credit for coaching up Drew Brees and designing an offense around his talents. He also won a super bowl in New Orleans which was a backwater franchise that had never contended for anything prior to his arrival. We used to celebrate seeing the Saints on our schedule until he got there.
So, he is a future HOF coach. That being said, I don't think he can duplicate his success in Dallas. No HC has ever lead to 2 organizations to a super bowl. Its never been done. So, asking him to come here and win a super bowl is setting the bar at making history while being saddled with Jones boys around his neck. No way he signs up for it.

I absolutely agree with you. But…Andy Reid has taken two organizations to a SB- once in Filly and winning one in KC. Parcells and Vermeil too. my bad. I see.I said "win" a super bowl. Any Reid has only won a super bowl in KC. Bill Parcels only won with the NYG. Dick Vermeil only won in St Louis.
Understood. And the other big road block to the Sean Payton anointing oil is his contract situation with the aints. Is Jerry planning on giving up draft capital? He won’t even give up a draft pick for a swing T, lol.I said "win" in a super bowl.

Quinn is in the pipeline anyway. I think hes the HC in waiting. I think he actually MIGHT have the ear of Will McClay and Stevie much better than MM..and better than Sean might. Quinn is respected by the players as well. Sean would likely wanna do an overhaul on a larger scale than Quinn and that aint gonna work here.I think there may be room for a negotiation with the Saints on compensation. I don't think it will come to that b/c I don't think Sean Payton can work with the Jones boys meddling. He knows exactly what goes on here and the circus that is our front office.
So, we will have 2 new starting WR, 2 new starting offensive tackles, a new starting LG, 1 new starting DE and Jerry really thinks it matters if Tyron gets healthy for the playoffs. LOL, just LOL.......Get ready for no first round pick next year, Payton will be the Cowboys HC. History has repeated its self, he hired 3 moron HCs in between Jimmy and Bill, now he has done the same since Bill cause if he doesn't it's his *** on the line in the media.
I think Dan Quinn is an excellent DC and I’m thrilled he’s here. One of the best DCs in the league. But I don’t necessarily think that means he’s a great HC. Quinn did some good things early in his time in Atlanta. But in my estimation he’s closer to being a Wade Phillips than a Bill Belechick.Quinn is in the pipeline anyway. Payton was the stripper on the bus.Especially since he's got experience with Jerry.
Excellent parallel. Dave Wannstaedt, Turner, and now maybe Josh McDaniel, which we'll soon find out if he learned from the Tebow debacle.I think Dan Quinn is an excellent DC and I’m thrilled he’s here. Quinn wasn't good as a HC the first time around. What have you seen that makes you think he can do the HC thing at a high level?I actually want Quinn over Payton
fair, but he did get a team 2 the SB as HC. Is he markedly lesser than Sean is? Sean could have EASILY lost that SB the Saints won. 9 times outta 10, Falcons win that SB that Brady stole from them. It was a fluke. I think he is right on par with him.I think Dan Quinn is an excellent DC and I’m thrilled he’s here. One of the best DCs in the league.
