So much for Jermaine Johnson at 24

He might get taken but another one will fall. There are so many quality pass rushers this year that could warrant the pick at 24.

After Taco bust, there's no way in hell I'd use a 1st on DE unless it generational talent and I have a top 5 pick. Selecting one at 24???????? Way, Way too risky for my blood.

I mean, you could make that argument for literally every position.

DE is one of the strongest positions in the draft therefore it is MORE likely a better talent falls at that position.

Definitely got to be careful. For me once you get past the 1st 2 guys Ojabo and Johnson are the only other 2 that I would consider at 24.

this always happens to me,the top player on my wish list never falls to our spot and keeps rising as the draft approachs.
Johnson is tak McKinley

i dont think so,Tak couldnt bend and was stiff.Johnson looks like he is an all round edge rusher .

I’m not sleeping on him. I just don’t think he’s a 1st round guy. I’d be happy to take him somewhere in round 2.
That projection must be based on size because based on ability he's a first rounder just like Ojulari was.

Maybe so but the expectation/value of the DE position is driven by one stats .....sacks There's a reason it's the 2nd highest paid position behind QB. Again way to risky for me ..........I'd much rather replace DLaw or Gregory with mid-vet. That way know what you're getting.......no guessing if you're drafting the next Taco or JT Watts.

Did anyone of you watch the practices on ESPN?

Johnson had like 5 good ones and the rest where kinnard by far. Kinnard gets exposed by speed not power and his hands not being higher leave him exposed to first step burst

Go watch you will see
You mean like when Johnson bull rushed him and put him on his back?

Well it’s not but that’s a whole different discussion.

Could you not argue just about every position in football value is driven by metrics / stats? Again I think you can argue about bust factor for every position.

You are right with it being one of the highest value positions in football. Again, this class is loaded so it’s a great opportunity to get a quality pass rusher on a cheap rookie deal.

Ain't happening ....... Take him off ya list or whatever but he could very be a top 10 pick when all said and done.

Reminds me of when Von Miller went to the Senior Bowl and became a top 3 pick. Johnson is a lock for top 10. It’s great to see other pass rushers are doing well as we might be able to take a good one in the second round.

I like Kinnards tenacity and fight. What round is he projected?

No I mean how the ones that aren't posted show he stopped him dead in his tracks.

Kinnard is a OG not a OT he can't with stand Speed
He's at RT . Wonder if we can coach Steele up to start at LT then draft this kid and find a roster spot for him? I like him. I say this because I think Smith may retire or get released. Steele has really amazed me.
