So much for Miami taking McFadden...

Well....I think the table is all but set. Both 1st rounders and bobby carpenter for the #1 overall pick.....
If they won't take that then throw in Spears!

How could Parcells possibly not like that deal since he was so hign on both Spears and Carpenter?

If BP doesn't trade the pick he will take Dorsey book it.... He loves those big 3-4 D tackles.

I believe the Jets will snatch up McFadden unless Jerry Jones gives up the two 1st round picks and later round picks....

Jets high on Arkansas' McFadden
Running back Darren McFadden of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Scouts say the two-time Heisman runner-up is an Adrian Peterson clone, easily the most electrifying offensive player in the 2008 draft (assuming he decides to turn pro) - and he could be there for the Jets' taking. The early word is they like him a lot. All they have to do is lose the last two games and catch a break or two. Many assume the Dolphins (1-13), a virtual lock for the No. 1 pick, will select LSU DT Glenn Dorsey. If Ronnie Brown's knee rehab continues to go well, the Dolphins won't have a crying need for a running back, especially with so many other holes. The Jets, Rams and Falcons - all 3-11 - are battling for the No. 2 spot. -- NY Daily News

why would atlanta go after a QB whn they have a QB in M vick sure he isn't as good as brady or manning but he does sell jerseys and puts people in seats at the game

You didn't hear? The Falcons traded him to the Virginia State Penitentiary.

He signed a 23 Month contract just the other day.

A friend with the Patriots tells me that Belicheck really wants Chris Long, Howie's son, DE, Virginia. Take it for what it is worth.

what pick do they have currently from the 49ers? like where do they stand since miami will have the #1 where do the pats sit right now?

He's the guy I always thought they'd want. Great character, great motor, plays for a "family" guy in Al Groh... It all makes sense.

I haven't calculated the opponent winning %s like I usually do.

1. Dolphins, 1-13

2. Jets, 3-11
3. Falcons, 3-11
4. Rams, 3-11

5. Ravens, 4-10
6. 49ers, 4-10
7. Raiders, 4-10
8. Chiefs, 4-10

So, right now, anywhere between 5 and 8.

While there are a lot of variables that could occur before, or on draft day, but if Parcells does go to Miami, you can't help but wonder if that will fuel the flames for more people speculating that we "may" try to trade up for that "wow" type of player that Jones has already mentioned. Who knows...who knows......hmmm.

It's not like they need to score more points.

Thomas Jones is not a long-term solution. If he were, the Bears wouldn't have let him go, and they desparately needed him.

Didnt it take about 10 games to get his 1st rushing TD of the season....

Parcells was just on ESPN this sunday saying that he would never take a RB with the first overall pick.

One week later he's the VP for the Dolphins, who by coincidence have the #1 pick. As of today, here is the current draft order

Miami......Not with Parcells there

St Louis.......S. Jackson

Jets......just signed Thomas Jones, also have a nice back in Leon Washington

Atlanta.......no brainer.....QB. Arthur Blank pretty much said it the other monday night during the game.

New England......I just don't believe they go RB. Not with an aging Defense. I still say they move down

Baltimore.......McGahee just sighned a big deal there. Need qb anyway

Kansas City......Larry Johnson

Raiders.......very possible

yea you say this and it looks good but when it comes down to it

Saints took Bush with McCallister
Pats took Moroney with Dillon
Rams took Steven Jackson with Marshall Faulk

teams love to take backs because the career of rb's is often so short.

Lol, somebody wake this due up. What Jersey is Vick selling these days. Maybe there is a new version of the Longest Yard coming out. Maybe this is a photo of the seats he is putting in the stands.
