I knew he would fold once he played against a solid defense.

Heck neither team is that good and would not survive in a tougher conferance.
Big East: Cincinnati
Connecticut
Louisville Pittsburgh
Rutgers
South Florida Syracuse
West Virginia

Give me a break

I love you knee jerkers who think one bad game in college means a guy will flop.

Premature evaluation strikes again.

Quincy Carter had a 5 INT day against an average South Carolina team in college. I guess that didn't shake your faith in him.

He had one bad stinker and now he is a bum?

Clearly that was a great coaching job by the Rutgers Coaching staff coaching that scrappy defense up and getting after the QB.

See the question is, if you substitute Troy Smith or Brady Quinn in there do you get better results?

The only argument I would kind of agree with if the answer is yes, would be Troy Smith is a lot more mobile, but besides that, I think you get similar results.

And remember, you get to substitute the QB...so you are stuck with the Louisville offensive line :p: .

i don't understand why teams spend so much money scouting college players when all they really need to do is come here. we have folks who can evaluate a player after watching one game. why do the waste their time watching film of a guys whole career? i mean we send scouts out to college games and watch them in person and that appears to be a huge waste. and why have the combines when all you really need is to watchone game and you know ll ther is to know about a guy

And yet Colt McCoy has actually put up better numbers than Troy Smith or Brady Quinn. :laugh2:

Go ahead and throw him in there as well.

Do you get better results with him last night?

As with many, I watched the game and Brohm did make some mental errors and some atrocious throws, but as soon as the 2nd half commenced, I just thought Rutgers had pretty much figured out the Louisville Offense.

I was actually a flip flop of the 2 defense because in the 1st half, Louisville's secondary was bring the "Wood" big time.

You know im not a big fan of Brian Brohm but I can't stand it when people want to write off everything a player has done through his entire carreer because of 1 game.

It was 1 game.

Every player is going to have a bad one.

What do you mean Kartr? Like he did against Miami earlier this year? 10/14 71.4 Comp%, 181 yards, 12.93 YPA, 1 TD, 0 INTs, 137.5 QB Rt.

Like he did against WV? 19/26, 73.1 Comp%, 13.62 YPA, 354 yards, 1 TD, 0 INTs, 127.9 QB Rt.

The guy is like 24 and 4 his entire career at Louisville.

His career stats are 388/588, 66.2 Comp%, 5488 yards, 9.1 YPA, 31 TDs, 11 INTs, 105.2 QB Rt. and he still has games to go.

Yeah, he folds like origami. He pretty much sucks.

Kartr didn't write Brohm off based on 1 game. He wrote Brohm off because he isn't Quincy Carter. He just waited for Brohm to have that 1 bad game, so he could come in and share his vast knowledge of QBs.

Not to mention, did you guys see that game he played against an extremely good Miami team when he was a freshman 2 years ago?

Where he was so talented that the Louisville coaching staff was forced to have him split time with Stephan LefFlors (who wasnt bad himself) to get him on the field.

I have been impressed with the guy but no, he didnt play well last night and I am pretty sure his "Big Brother", who is I think the QB Coach was let him know about it on the sidelines every chance he got :laugh2: .
