I know a lot of you want him to be our next head coach. After last night's loss to Boise State, I guess the shine is off Stoops big time.

Hands up for those of you who want a guy that lost to a WAC team and whose defence couldn't hold a lead with one minute to go?

first off, Boise State is an undefeated Top 10 team that had to use 3 trick plays to beat OU, and they had to do it in overtime..

OU is the 2nd winningest team in college football since Stoops took over (second only to Boise State)

OU has been to 3 national championships in Stoops' 8 years..

Stoops just won Big 12 Coach of the Year..

Actually to be honest someone posted his press conference in total and he did NOT complain about the refs.
BUT lets be truthfull here: in the last 4 years he has lost every big game.
With the exception of a couple of beatdowns of Texas (with Mack Brown that is not that big of a deal) he has lost EVERY BIG GAME for 4 years.

when did i ever say i was a fan of Mack Brown????????????????? in fact i hate Brown and earlier in the year in these message boards i said that the only reason that the Longhorns won the NC last year was because Vince Young was able to overcome Mack Brown's crap coaching. if it was up to me i would have hired a real coach a long time ago...

I do not post comments usually, but now I feel the urgency to do it.

I have read so many therads about Bill Parcells being fired or leaving Dallas...I personally do not want it, but finally I have to accept it is a strong possibility. If that is the case I do not think Jerry Jones will bring a College Coach, so we will not see Stopps on the Cowboys sideline next season. If Jones decide to make a change he will bring a person with NFL experience.

Hmmmm, didn't OU get screwed by the refs in the Oregon game? Anyone care to debate that farce? OU will have a real QB next year, so things should be better. I thought OU won the Big 12 Championship game, that must not be a big game. Face facts boys, we'd be in far better shape with Stoops than Parcells. I pray BP retires or is FIRED. I'll take Stoops or Petrino over the same old crap we keep enduring. Had it not been for Romo, we'd be 5-11. Again, great job BP! LOL
