I was a fan 20 years before you were born.

The Owen's signing, if it happens, will make me ill. And I'm no less of a fan than you. That's for sure.

If you are one who threatens to stop supporting the team -- or actually carries out with it -- because of Owens, you are most certainly a lesser fan. Or if you root injuries on your own team and pull for them to lose.

If you don't stop supporting the Cowboys, you'll be accepting him, either directly or indirectly.

That's not what I said. I think you are failing to understand me.

You are pissed about Owens. I get it.

Now you have two options of behavioral patterns you can follow.

#1, You can continue to watch the Cowboys, buy their stuff, and support them with your money and resources.

Or #2, you can stop watching them and supporting them.

By doing #1, you are helping pay the salary of every player on the team. Including Owens. And you are making Jerry richer and thus rewarding him for making that signing.

So even if you say its "unacceptable," you are full of it if you plan on doing #1. You are accepting it through your actions even if you remain mad.

And if you do #2 you are a fair weather fan and don't deserve to be a fan anyway.

I'll tell ya flat out. I had a huge problem being passionate about this team in 2004 with the likes of Eddie George, Vinny, Dedric Ward, Keyshawn, and on and on and on...And I am going to have a HUGE problem rooting for Owens.

Some people love the team so much that they simply aren't able to support losing. It pains them so much to watch a losing team that they won't devote their dollars to the team.

Yeah, its hard to pull for the team when things aren't going the way you want them to.

Its hard to be proud of being a Cowboys fan when they have drug and crime problems, are when they suck.
