Listen dooode. I have just as much a right to post my displeasure with the signing as you do with your ridiculous "root for another team" nonsense. Unnacceptable is how I feel about the situation.

If you feel its unacceptable then act on it and stop supporting the team.

Otherwise, watch the Cowboys, let your dollars reward Owens and pay his salary, and stop being overdramatic. Just say you don't like the move and be done with it.

But saying you aren't gonna accept it is lying, if you're gonna keep watching.

Who the Hell ever said they would quit supporting the team? That was YOUR notion, none of ours. DEAL

YOU did.

You said it was unacceptable.

Perhaps you don't understand what that means.

When you say something is unacceptable, that means you won't accept it.

But by watching and paying, that's accepting.

Your argument is becoming week. I can state that it's unacceptable, hence how I feel right now. Does not mean I will immediately go root for Buffalo. That my friend is where you are WRONG.

Some people love the team so much that they simply aren't able to support losing. It pains them so much to watch a losing team that they won't devote their dollars to the team.

But I don't find that to be any more chivalrous than your suggestion.

Ya gonna stop rooting though?

Ya gonna issue ultimatums?

Yeah, its hard to pull for the team when things aren't going the way you want them to.

Its hard to be proud of being a Cowboys fan when they have drug and crime problems, are when they suck.

And maybe for you its harder to pull for the Cowboys when Owens is around. But I find that to not make much sense because there are plenty of people on the team that are embarrassing, such as all the drug addicts we've had, that you've pulled for.

Either way, you won't give up on the team.

And if you would, I don't count you as a valuable fan. Sorry.

Right. But I'm not telling them they aren't fans.

As far as who I've rooted for. For me, I'd root for Owens if he had a drug problem. I have co-workers who have had drug problems. I root for them too if they are trying to better their lives and get over the problem

I'm not comparing Owens to past Cowboys who have had off the field issues. It's not a morality play. Geez, if that were the case, Bob Hayes wouldn't be one of my all time favorite Cowboys.

It's about disliking selfish players. And Owen's is the ultimate. THAT is why I don't like Owens.

I like how you've elected yourself judge and jury with regard to who is a fan and who isn't...and their value as well. Funny stuff.

Hey man Like I said I dont like the jerk either .......... and I didnt like Deion ............ and I didnt like Keyshawn .........

But I watched and rooted for all of them when they wore the Star ........... Thats where the true loyalty should be ..... The Star

Owens was the enemy ....... he showed out on the star ......... Teague made him pay for it

The next time he is on the star he may be defending it ........... or someone may do us a favor and sign the idiot before Jerry can ....

Either way its time for us Cowboy fans to have a united front and tell T.O. he is either WITH us or Against us ............. choose and shut up and score touchdowns. ;)

Michael Irvin was a selfish player. He's never disagreed with that, and Aikman has pointed it out as well. But, he was also a team player.

TO is selfish as well. Whether he's a team player is debatable.

Personally, I don't know players well enough to make a decision on whether I like or don't like them. I can like their behavior and make a judgement off of that, but I can't say much about the person.

Well said, thanks. I'm not sure I agree with everything here but I can respect your point of view.

Well Well Well Rack has tried to jump on me in a post to another person ......... what a brave little fella you are ........

I have stated I dont like T.O. ..... and wish he would not sign on here .......... but this whole star crap is silly ......... the guy was trying to bring attention to himself because he is a self hyping jerk .......... and all you kids fell for it and continue too years later .............

Every Athlete shows off there opponents in moments of weakness .......... I remember in are 2nd Superbowl year where Emmitt broke away from the Giants secondary and turned around and waved at them right before he crossed the endzone line in there stadium ........... was that disrespectful?

You kids can keep crying about the star incedent ........... and I will keep making fun of ya for it :laugh2:

Actually the star incident is the least of the reasons I don't (didn't) want TO here.

I would be able to forgive and forget that.

I can even forgive the self promoting.

The biggest reason I don't want him here is cuz of the way he calls out his teammates through the media.

Even if he really thinks Garthia is Gay there is no excuse for going to the media and saying it.

Even if he felt McNabb got tired in the superbowl, you don't go out and say it in the media.

Even if he thought Favre was/is a better QB then McFlabb, keep it to yourself.

If one of my teammates went to the media and called out another teammate like that there would be problems.

Will I accept TO? Never. Will I cheer for the Cowboys? Always.

And that's gonna happen regardless of whether some internet (fill in the blank) thinks I have only two options or not (not referring to you, Zrinkill).

The way I feel about it is.......... if you don't like the signing of a GameBReaking Playmaker who got raw deals from Rival Teams, then please take yourself far far away from Dallas Cowboys football reality.

Go support your 49ers or Philthy Iggles, because by complaining about a team improvement, that is what you are already doing.

I hate those two teams so very much and they did TO huge injustices!

On the nosey! Well said.

And that's the point...off the field stuff, etc has no bearing since we don't KNOW the player.

We can only judge by what we see on the field and what we see with regard to behavior with team mates.

Raw deal? He got a 7 year $45 million from the Eagles. Raw deal? And he started complaining the second year of his SEVEN year contract.

Oh and I'll be right here in Cowboy football reality, as I have been for the past 40 years...and NOT liking the signing, if it happens. :D

You know I don't believe there is a coach in the NFL (or ever was one) that can control TO.

But.. if there is one, it would be Bill Parcells.

And that's the last hope I'm clinging on to that this thing will work out.
