I understand that and I respect your viewpoint. You should work on that w/ others.Lol, I highly disagree.

So since we suck at drafting in the 4th round anyway, might as well throw away the pick? When you look at Dallas 4th round picks in recent history V Fehoko Jr. , Jake Fergason, Jabril Cox, Josh Ball, Reggie Robinson, T Biadasz, I think Mingo is as good as any of these players.
That trade looked bad the day we made it. It just keeps looking worse.I mean we all did a double blink last year when that trade was announced. It’s comical at this point. Can someone please post the Bevis and Butthead pic.
That's bs.That trade looked bad the day we made it. It just keeps looking worse.
He wasn’t worth a 4th round pick. In 8 games all he had was 5 catches for 46 yards. We saw why Carolina got rid of him. That's bs.
We saw a bad qb that couldn't throw him the ball and we saw a big physical receiver that blocks well and can catch the ball.He wasn’t worth a 4th round pick. In 8 games all he had was 5 catches for 46 yards. We saw why Carolina got rid of him.

Sure he is when you look at what players were available. You might have your 3rd receiver for pick 114 and he is on a rookie deal. Look at his production in the SEC when Dart was his qb.He was he worth a 4th round pick?
No, you’re supposed to obsess over it for the rest of your life until you are reduced to a Gollum-like state, choking out the words “4th round! 4th round!”I mean we all did a double blink last year when that trade was announced. His production in college doesn’t matter. He regressed in Carolina and they moved on. We traded for him in hopes he could be our WR2. I would have been okay with the trade for a 6th or 7th but we overpaid.Sure he is when you look at what players were available. I mean if you think trading a 4th round pick for the Panthers backup WR (he had been beaten out of the starting lineup by a practice squad player) is a good trade then I am sure there are no shortage of teams who would gladly part ways with their failed backups for a 4th.Sure he is when you look at what players were available. I think that there is nothing wrong with trading for Mingo. We will see what happens, these receivers will be in a battle to get on the field.I mean if you think trading a 4th round pick for the Panthers backup WR (he had been beaten out of the starting lineup by a practice squad player) is a good trade then I am sure there are no shortage of teams who would gladly part ways with their failed backups for a 4th.
I don't think it was a bad trade because I don't value a 4th round pick worth 66 points. So since we suck at drafting in the 4th round anyway, might as well throw away the pick?
the only thing I can say about Mingo in the NFL is that he's not really had a legit go of things with a legit QB throwing to him.His production in college doesn’t matter. He regressed in Carolina and they moved on. We traded for him in hopes he could be our WR2. I would have been okay with the trade for a 6th or 7th but we overpaid.
He is going to be a 3 way battle for the number 4 WR spot. His best case this year is the number 4 WR. By the way a 31% catch percentage is abhorrent no matter who is throwing you the football. I would expect practice squad WRs to catch more than 40% of balls thrown their way. At least with Pickens being on the lower end you can say its because he is a big play guy so being under 60% is, almost, explainable. Mingo does not have that excuse as he averaged under 10 yards a catch with basically no ability to catch.I think that there is nothing wrong with trading for Mingo. We will see what happens, these receivers will be in a battle to get on the field.
I agree, but in a watered down league, anything can happen if you can compete. I still have the terrible taste in my mouth after being fed lies last year time and time again about being all in. Think about it, they purposely let a hc,most of the staff, the fans, the team, suffer due to the GB game and how we lost. The most selfish cringey thing Jerry has ever done while owning the team was what we witnessed in 2024. He now wants us to love him lol...he created the problem, rides in on his white horse, attempts to fix the problems HE CREATED, knowingly. This is why fans have serious doubts about anything we do. Good or bad. I understand it completely. I'm cautiously optimistic.Pickens is the kind of rental you make when the team on the precipice of competing and need that one more piece. This team isn't close to competing bc of the defense. I just get tired of watching the Jones morons make the same errors over and over. They don't learn from mistakes. So, now we have our Irvin, Harper, and Aikman. Maybe one for these RBs becomes Emmitt Smith and we can then relive the 90's. Oh wait..... the defense.
and he wont be one of them. Please tell me ur gonna give up 60+% completion rate to someone like Turpin for Mingos 38%3 wrs is a must in todays league
Oh boy. Mercy. He wasn’t worth a 4th round pick. In 8 games all he had was 5 catches for 46 yards. We saw why Carolina got rid of him.
