As posted on the facebook page....

really? What do these folks see in this guy that we dont? These boise folks really have a lot of faith in him.
I want to say that just because his work was good in college doesn't mean he will translate well in the NFL (evidence abounds for that). But is there something I am missing?

I mean sure it would be great if we can find our solid backup QB in this guy don't get me wrong, the sooner the better. But just sayin... I don't know what do you all think about all this hype coming from a backup QB that's never played a down in the NFL regular season? Not trying to start arguments here just wondering. I am all ears. Is it just folks trying to magically, group conscious stuff, make things happen for this cat or is it just empty hope coming from a hopeless season?

Who knows if he'll pan out. The knock on him is he's short for a QB. But the positives are he seems to be accurate, makes good decisions, and gets rid of the ball quick.

they say he has a good IQ, very smart. I keep hearing that on that facebook page.

...and those things are exactly what Weedon and Cassel severally lack. Moore is an upgrade and I think it will be quite obvious.

I am a Boise folk. I watched every home game of Moore's his last 2 years in college in person. And every away game on TV. His measurables are awful. Below average arm. Slow feet. Short for a pro QB. Slight build. That being said, he has "it." He ran a very complex, multi set offense in college. And was a coach to the 10 other players on the field. He can read a defense as quick as anyone. Son of a football coach. Is very accurate with the ball. And because he knows so quickly where to go with the ball, he throws with anticipation. In other words, he "throws his receivers open." His arm is strong enough, but will never be a "drive the deep out" thrower. To me, the most underrated facets of QB play are anticipation and accuracy. He is elite in those categories. I don't know if this is enough to make him a quality NFL QB, but if guys like Jeff Garcia can succeed in the pros (and actually make a pro bowl), so can Moore. And by the way, you don't get to be the winningest QB in COLLEGE FOOTBALL HISTORY without knowing how to play the position. Again, that does not make him a pro QB, but it is worth a shot.

I'm sold.............lets start him the last 3 games and see what he has.

Like others have said, what is the worst that could happen, we lose for the 1000th time this year?

We win a game or two and screw up the draft pick. I'm fine with him playing well and earning the b/u gig next year. If he does, great. Just don't screw up my high pick in the process.

The Cowboys won't put him in. No ways! If he succeeds it will make our FO and coaches look bad. Everyone will be asking why didn't we put him in earlier.

He had the highest completion rating of any QB coming out of college that I know of (74.3%). Its worth a shot to see what he can do. But I doubt they will let him play.

I'll just be happy if he doesn't have the "deer in the headlights" look under pressure. We have a chance to get a good read on the kid over the next 3 weeks, if we don't use it we're nuts......but then again.....

That's true, think one year at one point he had like 25 TDs to only one INT. He doesn't strike you as a great QB until you just watch him continually go to the right place with the ball time after time. I actually think he would be better suited for a WC style since he doesn't have the big arm but can make the quick reads

You've got me sold. Where do I sign for that prime south Florida coastal real estate? I'm good to go sight unseen.

That would be such a dumb reason to hold him back but I completely get what you're saying. Our FO is capable of anything.
