1. It looked like Ro and Hitch left off where they were last season in this game. They both played well I thought. Not sure if Lee gets in the way of these 2 but it did remind me of last year.

2. An Escobar catch!!! I thought I might see a sasquatch before I saw another one of those!!

3. We won the TO ratio. Although Patmon dropped a freaking pick six!!

That's it, that's all I got. Sadly.....

You know it's been a miserable season when a thread is dedicated to the Cowboys winning the turnover battle vs Tampa and that Escobar had his 5th catch of the season. Just 5 more and he'll exceed his career high of 9 catches. :oldcouple:

4. That draft pick is getting better and better.
I was pissed but after awhile I start saying remember the draft
remember the draft. Brings me off the ledge.

Remember the 18th-25th spot in the draft we're going to find ourselves when this team finishes 5-2 and puts us out of the top 15 picks?

I will say that Ro looked like last year Ro. He showed some instinct and busted up some runs and made them feel his presence. Whether that type of play continues is to be determined.

Hey we know how to develop offensive talent around here! See Bennett, and Harris! Escobar will be catching 70 balls in no time!

For a new team. ;)

Brad Sham said that last week in the lockerroom Ro was literally dragging one of his legs as he walked. Brad said he asked him "What's wrong?" and RO said "Nothing. Just old man stuff. I'll be alright."

5. Remember that Romo is coming back and the high draft pick will be a thing of the past.

That should put you back on the ledge again. But you're right, up until then that was the only saving grace for me as well.

The good news is that I watched the game at a Sports Bar, which was cool because there were other games on.

What's pathetic is were like the Falcons last year. Horrible record w a chance for a top 5 draft pick and still have a shot at the division.

Apparently that's the plan draft TE's/receivers and develop them for other teams. We did a nice job developing Harris he's looked very good for the Giants and came back to haunt us a few weeks ago with a 100 yard KO return. I'm sure he made the coaching staff feel proud as he burned us on that score. We also did a nice job with Amendola for the one summer we had him turning him into a fine player with NE. Escobar will probably end up being another Jimmy Graham for a team not named the Cowboys.

nothing against Aven, great poster but this needs to be said

MEDIOCRITY RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call us a minor league if you will. What about that bum Sterling Moore that couldn't stop anybody in GB, that just shut down Dez? Pathetic!

I think Escobar will excel once Witten hangs tem up. I mean look at Bennett he isnt Jason, but he is decent. Escobar just need more PT!

Not being one who believes Romo's return will change anything (if he doesn't get his head knocked off by Suh in Miami this week he'll "be rusty", "not played for 7 weeks" etc) we'll be parting w/ some excellent picks for the trades we made trying to save this season. Exactly what picks have we given away for the likes of C. Michael, Cassell, Butler etc. none of whom have been worth a look, let alone a pick, IMHO...

Players usually get motivated playing against their former teams. Moore did a good job yesterday but Dez is out of synch right now still not near back to form. It's one thing being shutdown by Sherman but it's another being contained by Sterling Moore.

oh stop it, on his worst day Dez shoud have eaten Moore alive, come on, this is silly.
