Yeah but people hate Dez’s personality so they tie in stats to come out of the closet
hey 3rd---on utube there is NFL film studier and commentator ..its name AKOYE..not his name its an acronym..but film study is his hobby and he is good too..anyway he posted a picture of a receivers route tree...shows all the different routes..and then went over film where Dez ran every one of those routes and was open..and Dak never passed him the ball for some reason and he pointed out the defensive lineup was as such that Dez should have been Dak's first read...but nothing..he could not explain why both Dak was not even looking at Dez or passing to him?....all the commentators say Dez cannot run routes..Cole Beasely even said Dez can run really good routes and has gotten better since he has been here

you know---we may rue the day we treated Dez like that...he gets on an NFC east team we play at least twice a year...and he torches us...i see the writing on the wall

It would be well-deserved for him to stick it to Garrett and this staff.

I wonder what they (and the Excuse-makers) will be saying then?

Here's the plan.

At the end of the season, when the team misses the playoffs, Stephen Jones will throw the red flag down and argue about balanced books, jersey sales, and overall franchise value. I mean, that's what really matters, not talent on the field.

It's not a plan it's a process. The process is ongoing and all part of the plan. The purpose of the plan is to complete the process which is ongoing and part of the plan!

See it's really very simple

hey 3rd--- oh man i copied this one ...you gotta watch this..we are being fed a bunch of propaganda...

I watched the entire video (funny intro) my thoughts are that someone isn’t coaching Dak or there is staff here that is riding the talent wave and what I mean by that is we can draft talent but can’t coach talent. I don’t want to stick up for Dak but if he still shows these similar mishaps he will benefit in a more well equipped franchise that can coach players on the field. These 1 year success 1 year failing seasons are getting old. I think Rod has the defense apart from the team in a way. Dak is using bad fundamentals that should have shown during training camp and addressed before the season. It prob was known and never addressed hence why players like Dez and Witten eyed Garrett like in the video. I am glad I watched it.

3rd-- i totally agree with your assessement .... i am so frustrated with sir-clap-a-lot as Akoya says...red does not know the condition of his players and seems to lead..well lets try this and see if it works???...as we watch so many players changing positions under the tier "position flex"...when in reality red has little real wisdom what to do...i agree we can find talent in every round..but we cannot develop talent in a timely manner...and then they play well in contract year and gone the next...a HC is in charge of not only putting players in best postion but position under-coaches for best result.....red i would want on my staff as a philosophical motivator...because his players do play hard for him....but there is so much more that goes into head coaching

The interesting thing about position flex to me is that it kinda works in the same since companies will pay someone to work multiple positions with the same pay as what they were hired for in the first place. If I was a player and spent so much time perfecting a position my entire career but go to a team that moves me around enough for me to show weakness in those spots I am not use to it might effect my value and keep me on a chop block within the organization. The upset would be avoiding relying on a certain player in that spot incase a injury occurs.

Someone enlighten me to "the plan"? we don't have no plan. Jason is still watching tapes from 2014 and is going as fast as he can. Jerry is training Jason as fast as he can, but he doesn't understand the robot language Jason speaks in.

If this was the decision they were going to make, why wasn't it done months ago?

Why wasn't the player given the best chance for a new deal elsewhere?

Why didn't the team free up the cap space when they really needed it most?

Why didn't they do it when the other top receivers were available?

Does anyone in that building know what they're doing?

:banghead:
Just hang in there for three more years then Stephen will name himself coach and give the QB job to his son.

i like your username--but the way cowboys are being led an coached...3rd and inches may only be a dream...3rd and 8 or 10 yds might be more realistic

..Dez always said he wouldn't play for anybody else but Dallas, he said he wouldn't take a pay cut either...He said he would sit out if push came to shove.
Many fans for quite awhile have complained about Dez's money -vs- production...."getting paid as a #1 and playing like a #2!"
I thought he would take the salary cut and stay in Dallas this season. The FO didn't even offer him a reduced salary! They waited ...Voluntary workouts coming soon, and they let him go healthy. JJ and the FO doesn't own Bryant anything... JJ took this guy in, guided him, set him on a straight path,
made him a multi-millionaire.
Dez is not a Cowboy anymore!...I've moved on.

I actually think the whole front office and coaches were intimidated by Dez when he had his rants on the sidelines and they were afraid to approach him about anything. They were finally backed into a corner and had to tell him bye. Just like when Jerry fired Rob Ryan he did it over the phone while Ryan was on Vacation at thebeach with his family.
