No, we didn't "get better". Not in any way.

Not when we're now forced to prop up the likes of Allen Hurns.
That statement was not an effort to convince any of you. I'll see what you're singing in a few months.

LOOK BRO!! quit trolling read the context someone posted the last few years of hurns number and they are the same as DEZ last few years numbers SO Listen close, Hurns output if they are where dez has been the last 3 seasons well isn't that the same, we aren't missing much if hurns gets 69 catches 8-900 yards and 5-8 TDs.. seriously real all of it before questioning what i wrote..Hurns of course hasn't had the career dez had but the Dez of late and Hurns of now are the same player for 40% of the salary..Got it?

Nothing to "get".

Dez Bryant is a 1st round talent. Allen Hurns is an undrafted free agent. Hurns never has and never will have Bryant's talent and ability.

Dez Bryant's lower numbers directed coincide with Scott Linehan becoming this team's offensive coordinator.

If Bryant - a far superior player - struggled, a lesser player will only be worse.

I'll be singing that same song:

"Kill the Gawwitt, kill the Gawwitt!"
You already know Garrett is now on a 1 year timer which started counting down yesterday afternoon. You're a smart guy. I don't know what else to tell you.

If we don't go deep into the playoffs this year, Garrett will be sitting in the chair Dez occupied yesterday at season's end.

Someone print that and put it in a time capsule......

I hope that's the case. But based on the fact that nobody makes more excuses for Garrett than his boss, I can see Jerry giving him yet another mulligan because of "turnover at the receiver position."

Tell me you couldn't hear him saying that?

Jerry may be trying to give him a Milligan but Stephen won't take that mulligan quietly.

Yesterday you saw the resutls of Jerry trying to give Dez a mulligan. He lost.

I think you mean with Dak as QB..

Linehan’s first year as play-caller was with Romo though Callahan still held the title.

Both TWill and Dez were two of the top WRs in go routes caught with Romo as QB that year. This is TWill as a second string WR topping all primary WRs in that route.

hurns played with phucking Bortles bro and put up solid numbers.. Daks as good or better than bortles..sometimes the premidonna in Dez let his head get in the way of his hands the last 3 years..I like Dez but his head is what caused his demise..Hopkins over in Texas somehow just keeps producing regardless of the QB.. **** and go play..Dez lost that mental edge..Hurns will adjust and just play and take what the defense gives him and play..hes a 1B no doubt but in this offense he will produce equal to what at least dez has the last 3 years for 6 mil vs 16.5..got it??

We have no plan other than try and recoup money that we lost when Romo retired.

Unless he fits better w/ Dak.

And I hate Linehan.

However, Dez has never played up to that superior talent. And that is on the coaches. Might be too late for Dez, IDK.

Word on the street is Allen Hurns is known for dropping easy passes.

Guys bashing Dez for ‘dropped balls’ celebrating his acquisition though he was RELEASED, like he’s an automatic primary WR threat.. can’t wait to see him being led right into the defenders by Dak..

If this was the decision they were going to make, why wasn't it done months ago?

Why wasn't the player given the best chance for a new deal elsewhere?

Why didn't the team free up the cap space when they really needed it most?

Why didn't they do it when the other top receivers were available?

Does anyone in that building know what they're doing?

Why doesn't Garret work on his?
Why is Dez Bryant the sacrificial lamb and the only guy held accountable?
It's not about accountability. Its about Dez being 30 years old, being injury prone the last 3 years, and his contract no longer matching his production. If you weren't so consumed with your Garrett/FO shtick, you might be able to realize this.

Again, why does Garrett continue to get a pass?

He's never produced to the level that Dez Bryant has, and yet somehow he keeps his jobs? While player after player after player, and coach after coach after coach get shown the door for "not producing"?

Why are there different levels of production and accountability required?

But they get a pass while it's all placed on this one player.
Yeh, it was all Dez Bryant's fault.
you know---we may rue the day we treated Dez like that...he gets on an NFC east team we play at least twice a year...and he torches us...i see the writing on the wall
