Grier has a whooping 228 yards and 4 interceptions, 0 TDs in his NFL career...sporting a 33 QBR.

Rush was 4-1 last season, stop the nonsense.
How manybyards per game did Rush have? How many TDs and interceptions?

You can't compare per game stars against wins and losses. Specially because the defense won those games

People really forgot rush won games when dak was hurt last year.

Much respect to Rush for his contributions.... but how many games do you think Rush would be able to continue winning with an average of just 100 yards passing per game especially after teams game plan him all season??

Probably 5 or 6 at most.

Rush is a solid backup, but Grier has shown he's capable of more than just the bare minimum as a backup.

Grier is without question better than Rush.

33 QBR is there anything more to compare? No. Rush has done a great job for Dallas against real defenses, not 3rd teamers about to get cut.

Grier is fun to watch when the pocket breaks down, but some of his best passes were checkdowns, which is generally what people seem to hate about Cooper Rush.

I didn't think Grier is that good. he struggles in reading defenses and processing plays.
the point you totally missed. you compared somebody's yards to wins/losses.
its like me saying I am 6'.3" and then you respond, but you weight 185...

Rush maybe better. perhaps by a simdgen. that's why cowboys traded for a bust, in hopes of having Rush replaced.

no he isn’t. 6-1 in the regular season against legit defenses. If those numbers were reversed I would agree. But we have a backup QB capable of winning games and some dismiss that way too easily!

HE did what you want from a backup when it really counted. Anyone who passed Football 101 understands that.
he minimized his mistakes for three games. got bailed out by the defense. but yeah, he did his job as a back up.

but to say he is starting material is absolutely asinine.

His interview was sad. He started crying while talking about the hardest part was leaving his team mates he has made friends with.
