Im a know it all because i provided a report that said accidents decresed 63 percent since camera's were installed in LA and you shot back with "city says accidents increasing" with no link or anything?

You have one report here that says accidents are up. There are many out there that say accidents are down. I guess the bottom line is there are conflicting reports, but the only way i see that accidents would increase is because people arn't paying attention and have to slam on the breaks, and the people behind them also arn't paying attention or are following too closely or both.. and slam into them.

The camera's don't cause these accidents.. idiot drivers do.

As I said if you get the chance vote for it. However your view is just that your view. Other people are allowed to have opposing views. We made our choice in Houston if you don't like well too bad.

How is the camera making it safer? If the whole point is to spend money to make it safer and yet they show increase in accidents then the tax payers are really getting ripped off.

I have received 3 various camera tickets over the years.

1st one was from a actual officer taking a picture from his car for riding in an HOV lane. I got my day in court. The officer described my car as a completely different color - Thrown out.

2nd one was for running a light - 2 weeks before it was due to be paid, I got a letter in the mail telling me that the intersection was confusing and the ticket was dismissed.

3rd one was my wife driving my car and got one for speeding. Thrown out at the time, but since then they have changed it to a point where it does not matter who is driving the car. Which makes zero sense to me, because I should not have to pay for someone elses ticket if I am not guilty of it. Same as some NFL player got a DUI when his brother-in-law was driving and he was the drunk passenger (I think it was McNair).

My first 2 were in DC and the most recent one was here about 7 years ago or so. I am pretty sure this city has taken out all of those cameras about 5 years ago. I never see them anymore and haven't heard anyone talk about them for years.
