Well to be fair. We already know the defense sucks and there is no fix coming in the near future giving the cap status.

However there is some talent on offense

1. Mostly avoid down field passing.
2. Avoid Dez as much as possible.
3. Attack the sidelines.
4. Avoid the middle.
5. Avoid most pass patterns that involve catching a ball while still in the process of running.

A few of the problems that pop in my head.

Anyone who supports our offense simply has blinders on. They are bad, have no consistency and the scheme is outdated. It is a shame that our defense is so bad that it is covering the equally bad offense.

Defense-horrible but has an extreme amount of injuries

Offense - mediocre with minimal injuries

Both need a whole new system installed with new coaches. Go back to the 3-4 and bring in an offensive coordinator with his own scheme whether Garrett stays or not. Tonight, we came out and ran the ball down their throats. What happened next is no surprise to me, they went away from it again. That is on the coaches.

On black Monday, they all need to be fired with a whole slew of new guys brought in with no ties to Dallas in any way.

Romo wasn't sharp in some plays tonight but he is still not the main focus/problem of the offense. The roots are far deeper and malignant, time to remove them.

this offense has been digressing every year, and in a year when you have a legendary bad defense, it has made its biggest strides backwards........

Garrett has been OC for 6 + years, and he hasn't adjusted on bit.

This seems fitting.....

We were 3-2 in December last year.. its got nothing to do with what month of the year it is.

There is one other constant

Jerry isn't going to change so even mentioning him is pointless. But I've never seen a Manning or Brady or Bree's or a Rodgers team just quit the way a Romo team quits.

Living in Cleveland I watch some of the Browns games and Norv knows what to do with his playmaker Josh Gordon.

The offense is 7th in offensive points per game. That's not counting special teams points or defensive scores. I will take that every year.

No. That is counting special teams and defensive scores. Without those cheap points the offense gets about 22 per week.

I'm speaking of number nine. Not JerryJerry

He's a good QB in spurts. He isn't a QB that gets hot and can take over a game. It's not in his DNA. He's a nice guy says the right things but doesn't have that drive that cocky confidence that you see from the top guys in the league. He hangs his head and says we gotta play better it's a process as a football team. It's become a comical joke. I don't care if he holds every Cowboy passing record. He should with the way the rules are setup now for the QBs and WRs. But this guy couldn't hold Aikmans Jock or shine his shoes. He gets out played by no name QBs so often it's become a Joke. He takes the best WR this team has had since Irvin and makes him a nobody on the field. Time to move on 3 and out one of the worst offenses in the league on the money down. But hey he's having a good "statistical" year. Once again can't beat an opponent with a winning record. This team is not a playoff team at all

Gordon is having the season everybody in Dallas expected Dez to have. They actually know how to highlight a superstar WR in Cleveland.

Exactly! I see Gordon being moved around all of the time and feeding him the ball a lot. I just don't understand why we don't do that with Dez?

According to: http://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/offensive-points-per-game we are 7th. And we score 24 offensive points per game. We also score 3.6 defensive points per game and 0.6 special teams points per game which are 3rd and 6th respectively.

I'm not sure where you are getting your numbers. But I have found this site to be accurate in the past.

Pretty accurate. He makes some amazing plays bobbing and weaving then making a quick throw. But he doesn't play within a system. It's like he is on his own island out there.

Run well or don't run the ball. Block or don't block. The result is the same.
