Something Weird Going On With ET

I don't see it being irrelevant. They know how to judge talent versatile football players. Whereas many just want big names but still it wasn't the point they know how to handle the salary cap which is the point
dallas would be in the superbowl with belichick as its head coach. he's just that good. they let solder go to the giants and bring in a late round guy traded from another team and coach him up to be better than solder. now they just let him go and they'll fill that spot with last years draft pick who was on ir for the season. bill is the straw that stirs the drink in new England.

I stated in an earlier post you have to have a great coaching if you're just going to have football players. And not money Players backing them up. Ratcliff was a money player. We paid him and then he sat on the bench injured remember. I don't want guys like that any longer

Landon Collins's deal is really 3y/35m (11.6666m per year), so Thomas wants 2y/30m. Maybe he'll settle for 2y/28. But Dallas seems intent on not spending more than 9m py, So...I don't see it happening.
Thought he got 45m guaranteed

I believe they just let flowers go also defensive tackle to the Lions. But we're going to give Lawrence big dollars. Where as they would handle the situation totally differently everybody wants to mimic the Patriots but they don't want to do the Dirty Work. Drives me up a wall

Nope. Always been Cowboys22.
I thought maybe you were Catch 22 and still can't. I'm looking for some of the older Forum people hiding under new names. LOL you have some good insight.

What does it read to you?
It was a reply to a post where someone said no one wants to sign ET because they know Dallas wants him. For some reason it didn't post under the caption. I'm still learning how to use this system

Virtually every really good safety has signed but him.

Only two teams left that need a safety, Dallas and SF. However, reports are SF has not contacted or spoken to ET or his representatives. Teams are avoiding ET like he has the plague. Only three logical explanations.

1. ET has such crazy money demands nobody is even bothering, but reports are he wants $14 a year which is not that much more than what some others got.

2. ET injury history is scaring teams off. This doesn’t really jive since his injuries were bone breaks and not soft tissue. There should be no increased risk involved since broken bones actually get stronger when they heal.

3. He has the parameters of a deal in place with Dallas already and he is shopping it around. Teams know any offer they make he will just take back to Dallas to match so they are just not bothering. Teams are not stupid and don’t like be played with.

I think number 3 is the most realistic scenario right now in all honesty. Makes the most sense.
4. He flipped his last team off on live TV.

Thank you for your service !!! Don’t let the spelling and grammar ***** get to you !! We appreciate your service and sacrifices

Maybe a combination of him wanting too much and the Cowboys having no interest to sign anybody who isn't from the bargain bin.

Tendencies of a franchise, Cowboys want somebody they pull the trigger. Hey let the entire nation know when they're going to do something .They don't hide anything . they love the drama. In my opinion if he's not signed already he's not going to be by us

I hope its #3 because I don't think our pass rush will be as good as last season. We'll need better play by our secondary because they will be getting tested by offenses.
