Say what you want about Schotty, but he is really growing on me.

Relationships and team building 100% matter. Does seem like Schotty has the respect of the team. Now it has to translate to more success.

It’s why it’s been 30 year since their last conference championship. It’s why you see them ignore safety and defensive tackle for so many years.

I was negative on Shotty at first. Now I'm getting to 50/50.

He had to deal with death of a player, Jerry, Eberflus…trading Micah a week before the season..it was a mess.

He had his issues for sure, but last season would have been a huge challenge for any defensive coordinator

I don’t fault Eberflus for being bad. It’s how bad he was. Guys being most, questions snap count of guys….you can be a good DC and not be top 20. When you are in the 30s or last? That’s just a bad defense and DC combo. It’s inexcusable to be ranked around last.

Yes and to all the BS haters, I've said this before I don't think there was a coach in the NFL that could have dealt with it any better given the exact same circumstances and no they don't get to bring their own players and staff over exactly apples to apples that would have been rough for any coach let alone a first time head coach... By the way also had to split time and develop an offense and call plays on game day..

I'm not much for censorship...but I wish we would ban the hater word. Using it as often as people like you do...makes you more of a hater than them. You hate that people refuse to see things YOUR way.

I will say, Schotty does come off sincere at least in his media hits. I think his answers have pretty much always been good.

Conversely, you had a guy like Jason Garrett that would seemingly say the “right” canned answers like a space alien.

I don’t like it either and refrain from using it. However, there is a reason why the term is used so often. The other “hopeful” side has many derogatory terms thrown at them as well, all day long and everyday. If the so called “haters” can’t hack it, they should stop with the bootlicker and dakstan crap, just to name a few. I’ve had similar terms like that thrown at me and I’m firmly in the middle. Very hard to be in the middle around here. Lol
