Sorry, but I think this video board is ridiculous

I was at the game on Friday and had absolutely no problem keeping my attention on the field. The video board was great for the post-play stuff though. They even show a replay from four different angles at the same time.

From the reports I've read, the higher up you are, the more distracting it is. Maybe it depends on the person.

I have said since day one that I didnt like the screen. Not so much that it is too big but it is caveman compared to the modern marvel that is the stadium.

He should have wated until the technology was available to created an oblong screen that conforms to the shape of the stadium.

It looks ridiculous from the ground and from eye level and most of all from the blimp.

They are all in awe, so that intentionally lousy punt hitting the video board gave them something to latch on to. Sadly, some Cowboys fans have latched on also.

like someone said i think the point of the board is, regardless of where you sit, you have a great view of the action on the field... and its not like watching at home in your living room, unless your living room can fit 79k people and is right in the middle of a live game...

This is true. For the person that just wants to focus on the QB, the screen is perfect. You can see them much more clearly on that monster because they're literally larger than life.

But for the person that wants to see the formation, the routes, blitzers, etc., it's better to watch the field because the view on the screen is extremely close up on the QB.
