The last time we saw the Cowboys in AT&T they gave up 48 to an above average packers team. And the Cowboys looked completely soft in the worst playoff loss in team history.

Today we saw a repeat performance from a really soft Cowboys team. I watched every down of this embarrassing loss today and the saints OL and DL just completely physically dominated the Cowboys. Their secondary and LBs hit us like freight trains. Our response? One word: SOFT. Charmin soft.

Yes our QB did not play well, threw a terrible INT and was unable to get more than one TD drive. He deserves a lot of criticism. But he doesn’t block, tackle or cover anyone. This team has been kitty cat soft for far too long.
Yup thats what happens when you keep getting these "player's coaches".

Uncle Wade, Jason and MM - teams take on the personality of their coach...

Not soft, Bob, lacking talent at DT. This problem permeates every part of our D. The smart teams know it and are constantly drafting the position.

Soft too. How many times do you need to see them get punched in the mouth and assume the fetal position for the rest of the game? How many times do you need to see them not even show up for playoff games?

No argument here. That’s the worst thing about this loss. No fire. No sense of urgency.
No, Rocky, that's the problem, that's far from the worst thing. The worst thing is lack of talent up front. When the DLine is ordinary, this game is what happens.

And that is caused by being dominated upfront. Go watch the game tape and it's easily discernible. This loss has nothing to do w/ attitude. When the DT's don't disrupt, the LB's have to collapse in, leaving open areas. That's the punching in the mouth thing, has nothing to do w/ effort.

Of course they’re soft, it’s the culture your owner enables. No accountability at any level of the organization.

Been the same thing for 30 years.

Watch the Saints Kubiak/Shanahan type run scheme .

....and then watch our dead zombie, sloow lumbering run scheme :banghead:
Been saying this for 5 years. Our run game is very old fashioned. It would be nice to have a young, creative offensive mind from the Shanahan tree designing our attack. Its demoralizing to know after the first series, we had no shot

The team, but the defense especially, lacks fight. Grit, heart, killer instinct...whatever you choose to call it. And I realize being upset after a loss means little to nothing in the long term. I still expect someone, ANYONE to take it as personally as the fans do. None of these players take it personal enough because the check cleared. That's the separation of good teams and teams winning SBs IMO. Wanting and demanding the best on the field, taking anything less personally

The state of Texas is soft

The last time I was there, I couldn’t believe that people walking around Texas think they are some sort of cowboy or some sort of throwback to the iconic unsettled territories of the United States.

The media in Texas is a clown show. They have let Jerry off the hook for 30 years and the people just keep yukking it up and spending money at Texas Stadium.

The last Tough guy to come out of Texas was Audie Murphy.
Too too many Kalifornians have emigrated evidently. The Disease must spread!

This game felt just like the Packers playoff game.

So now Mike Zimmer is on notice. We saw one great defensive game and one where they couldn't be worse.

We will find out over time if this just "one of those games". But there is some solace knowing this whole coaching staff is on just one year deals.....
