Sounds like Steele is on the hot seat

Steele's $ is guaranteed this year. He could play blindfolded and not lose his job, unfortunately.

Yeah and the offense went up and down the field.

Again.. Not worried..
Steele is serviceable and even decent against the run. The problem is that other than Bass, the backups are questionable. If they all stay healthy, no problemo, but chances of that happening are slim. I think there’ll be some new faces on the oline come opening day.

On a positive note:

1. The interior of the OL is gonna be really really good. So Dak will regularly have space to step up into.
2. Daks pocket presence has gotten so much better over the years.

They have to be looking at cuts and fa vets, even a possible trade, Steele won't get better and they know it, they even cut his salary already.

I LOVE HIM BEING transparent!! I could see Jason Garrett right now saying something totally different, saying how much of a great player is and how much he's valued going forward

Steel is fine. Everyone wants better but not this year. It was more important to overhaul the defense than try to replace steele now. The offense isn't perfect but it's fine overall.

He does, but who's going to replace him? Not anyone on this team.

..well Shotty, you have basically three weeks to figure this out.

This offense goes as far as Dak goes. Keeping him upright is priority number #1.

Steele should have been cut and they should have signed a replacement in FA. That was a mistake by the FO.
Now that Von Miller has signed my biggest concern is OT. I agree that our offensive line will be our weakness but more specifically T and more specifically Steele. Steele may derail this season. That was a mistake by our FO.
