Bruce will be cut by the Bucks ..... and resigned to the Spurs.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this happen, either.

On a related topic, what the world on the possible Boston trade? Someone mind explaining to me why that trade makes sense to them?

Rumor was that Ainge called up Dumars and offered Rondo and Ray Allen for Rip,Tayshaun Prince and Rodney Stuckey. The Pistons had some interest but declined. Ray has one year left on his contract and Rondo is a 23 year old point guard for the future. I'm thinking the Pistons are unloading a bunch of cap(Iverson,Rasheed,Ray,Prince,Hamilton) for 2010 to sign some high priced guys. They are rebuilding over there.

The word is also that Rondo is a little punk and being a jerk towards coaches and not acting mature.

My personal opinion...Stuckey>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Rondo

The Celtics would rail the Pistons in that trade but Detroit might just be looking to unload a bunch of money in 2010

Jefferson is a really nice kid. He used to date a girl named Leah who lived in one of my apartments. Now and then Luke Walton would drive him over in his 59 Cadillac convertible. Luke would sit outside smoking cigars while Richard and Leah "visited." I kidded him one time that he was Richard's pimp. He said, "I got to help my boy relax." Richard would just laugh when told of our comments. He always has an easy grin and is just a genuine good guy.

Our boy Dogunwo tells me that too.
But his last season in NJ he had big attitude problems and slacked on D.

But he should fit in well. He gets to the line at will and should generate easy shots

Spurs still need an atletic big.
You guys want Sean Williams for a 2010 2nd rounder and hes yours.

Lakers are done w/o Odom. Seriously. Odom did so much for that team with his versitility. Who's backing up Gasol and Bynum? Mbenga? Powell? WOW. The Lakers bench goes from stacked to whack with the loss of Odom. Fisher is most likely gone and Farmar isn't anything special. Who's backing him up now? Sasha is just straight trash. Puke Walton..well nuff said. They are going to spend all they can to keep Ariza. Even if that means they have to overpay him.You know teams are dying to have his versitility.

BYEBYE FAKESHOW. Your window has closed. Enjoy this championship. You won't see another one for 10 years. When Kobe is washed up it's rebuilding time!!

Dude, practically everything you say is wrong. We "witnessed" that during the playoffs.

Odom already said he is not going to leave L.A. & that it would take a ridiculous deal to lure him away. Nobody is going to offer Odom, who is just about 31 years old a gigantic deal.

I liked Jefferson coming out of Arizona so I see no reason to change my mind on the type of player he is now. He's a great addition to the Spurs for a couple of washed up players.

I liked Bowen, but he played a little dirty at times plus you can only get by on being a defensive specialist so long before you become expendable.

calm down

can you all just get along? sheesh! obviousl slate is wrong a lot but i think he exagerates things to get a reaction from you guys.

as for odom ajk, he stated that he wants to stay with the lakers, not that he is GOING to stay with the lakers. there have been worst offers made to worst players by bad teams, just look at the entire history of the clippers. some stupid team might come along and offer odom or, more likely, ariza a huge deal the lakers wont wanna match, and rightfully so. the only thing that is helping their cause right now is the economy and teams unwilling to offer a lot of money to players outside of the big markets.

Ultimately, i think the lakers will find a way to resign both ariza(who i made a great call in thinking he would be the next bowen three years ago when he was with the magic) and odom. the bigger question for the lakers is who is gonna be their head coach next year, because if phil retires the lakers will be back with the pack instead of clearly ahead of it.

as for the trade itself, anyone saying it was anything but fantastic for the spurs is delusional. it was a great trade filling one our biggest holes and cost us 3 players who were on a serious decline. it was one of those trades people on spurs forums come up with that make no sense for anyone but the spurs, but it actually happened! its a poor mans gasol trade for the spurs

now if we can get a good big man like rasheed or something and we can stay healthy we have a great shot to compete with the lakers next year

The Lakers are going to be trash next year. Odom is leaving. No big man and that means more minutes for Puke Walton..oh boy..I doubt they even make the playoffs next year. They'll be scratching at 500 all year long.

:lmao: That post must have held credibility since all you say to me when I blast your outrageous posts is "twins suck" and have nothing else to back ANYTHING up. Ouch.

We all know you have no clue, no sense in trying to hide it anymore. I mean you can cheer for the Cavs but that is about all your good at.

Lamar Odom said on Friday (6/6) that he intends to re-sign with the Lakers this summer.
"It would probably take an offer I couldn't refuse for me to play somewhere else," Odom said. "It would take something incredible, which I don't think is going to happen." Odom has embraced his sixth-man role and is three victories away from a championship, so there's little reason to think his position will change over the summer.

Back up anything? That's all I do in my posts. Just read them. All I do is preach. Your posts are always garbage and commonly bash my views so I respond back with garbage. Your like one of those fools who jumps in a in depth conversation and adds nothing while no one really cares what you have to say.

So whats your backup to Howard owning Pau completely in the finals, Cavs in 4 over the Magic, Magic in 5 or w/e over the Lakers, Odom leaving the Lakers, Lakers sucking next year, Kobe sucking in 2 years, saying RODNEY STUCKEY is greater than Rondo :lmao2:, I could go on an on and on and on.

I know some people have called you full of crap but apparently it's not getting through to you. The only reason people actually talk back to you is because all of what ya got to say is pretty ridiculous and they are trying to make a point to you, and I think you know what that point is. (if not, check out the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th words of this paragraph)

Yeah, it's crazy to think what they got in return for a bunch of 30 year old role players. I'm still depressed about it. Again I say, that was a great trade by the Spurs.

Rasheed? **** that noise. He jacks up's 3's. You got enough weapons, go after Brandon Bass or Gortat if you got enough of the MLE.

And nice try w/ Vince Carter. Trying to steal him for 3 corpses.

we need another big man and rasheed would also stretch the floor for timmy with his three point ability. the spurs have always done good with guys like that, like robert horry. Gortat wouldnt be too bad either for the right price

id rather have RJ over carter just because of age and durability

VC plays some nice point though, and he rarely misses games. RJ is a 1 on 1, fast break slasher type. But B/C of Pop youll probably squeeze some D out of him

Look out, Orlando may be getting him in a few hours.
