No, but just because he isn't doesn't give Jones the right to dictate his staff to him.

Most owners aren't GMs either. It is an automatic who wins. There is no "power struggle" like there would be elsewhere. Either you take it, or you don't have a job. That is not the norm.

You will never get the tangible evidence you want about most things. What Mosley reported is about as close as you are going to get unfortunately.

Wade is not the type to stand up and publicly speak about the fact that he was overruled. He will tow the company line. Practically any coach would. It is just not something you do.

In the absence of that, it is then up to the individual to determine the reliability of the reporter delivering the information. Mosley is fairly solid from my perspective.

Fair enough, reasonable minds can disagree.

Bottom Line, I think Campo would be a good hire. If this does come to pass, I guess we'll find our answer on how our DBs perform in 08.
