So lets say he's not on the field for Niners and injunction is granted... What recourse does he have then ? Just a gameday paycheck ?
Money can always be repaid at a later date. So if, for example, he gets an injunction on Monday the 23rd (meaning he missed the 49ers game) then I believe they would continue to withhold the 1-game paycheck until final adjudication. However I gladly admit this particular opinion of mine is just a guess.

my sources are telling me that John Mara, owner of the New York Giants franchise, has been disposed by 2 hours due to the owners' meeting earlier today. This is the reason for Judge Crotty's delay as John Mara must be given a fair and balanced opportunity to railroad division rivals per unwritten provisions and agreements in the CBA and between NFL commissioner Roger Goodell

Ridiculous. MSN just posted it now & the article stated he's a "cooked goose". Either way, it just doesn't sound good for us.
I am not sure what you are calling "ridiculous" but the ruling in your article is the CA5 ruling from earlier today. The ruling we are all awaiting (which reports say will come around an hour from now) is the one from the NY district court announcing if they will give Elliott a TRO/injunction.

So, how did the judge sound? Did he give any difference to his Texas colleague's substantive findings at all?

anyone know if this is accurate? don’t teams have to submit roster by tuesday?
