Sources: Callahan to remain OC; continue to call plays

Yeah..

but Murray got his yards

No he didn't, he had 17 carries for 48 yards, which is terrible.

...and Orton spread the ball.

Twice to the other team.

We were not going to beat Philly running the ball 46 times.

Obviously, but I have no idea what you are talking about with Callahan being more conservative with Orton. The game plan looked exactly the same as with Romo running it.

If our GM, HC, DC, and OC is going to stay the same. And we are going to be in a very bad salary cap situation. What the HECK is going to change next year. Pretty freekin scary!!!

Doing the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of insanity

Let's do the EXACT same thing this year as last and hope for different results.

Kiffen is "the problem" this year, just like Rob Ryan was last year. We keep going 8 and 8 and never do we change any of the 'constants' throughout these season of 8 and 8. I guess we have to find a couple of players to blame too... Maybe Carr is too lazy and a locker room problem, just like if we got rid of lazy Bennett and Felix Jones, things would be better... Maybe if we got rid of those troublemakers TO and Pacman Jones, things would be different.

Well the defense was A problem. But the main problem is when the coach can't coach and loses those close games like he did against Detroit and Green Bay.

Main problem with this team is that they don't know how to win so its much deeper than just the defense. Just blaming the defense is nothing more than a bandaid approach to the real problem - that real problem is EVERYTHING.

We all see the problems,too.

The cap is the biggest issue in that we are in so far over our heads there we are dead in the water being able to even afford the upcoming draft..

much less any FAs.

Garrett must have been promised 5 years to get it fixed.

Which means another season of this.

If Bozo the Clown is going to stand pat, you don't need to worry about 8 and 8 next season. 8 and 8 will be good in comparison the the status quo 2014 record!

The offensive line definitely played a lot better under Callahan

When a team goes
8-8 i don't know how one would quantify "played a lot better."

But, then again, this is the era of Cowboys mediocrity and Jerra happily keeps raking in the profits and we keep thowing shoes at the TV.

So I guess this will allow Garrett to really call the plays and blame it on Callahan when it doesnt go right (see GB post game presser)..................Jerry is tired of his trainee looking like an idiot week in and week out....................this is such a joke way to run a franchise.

I think we're about to enter the "improvement from within" phase of the offseason.

So we are going to have the same coaches and pretty much the same players, except a handful of rookies from the draft, and that is the plan for 2014?

I seriously am starting to doubt this team even gets to 8 wins next year, looking more like a 6-10 squad if we sit pat.

Well maybe a few timely articles in August quoting our players saying "this just feels different" will win you over.

Well Jerry said he knows how to fix what what is wrong with the team. After all he has the brain of a 40 year old.

He looks like he's 90 but that old brain, those wheels, are just turning & he's going to fix this team!

LOL...................kinda like how some of the players were saying "3rd time is a charm" in week 17 elimination games.................oh, wait.

The good thing about having this "announcement" is that it does deflect attention from the real issue with the playcalling--that being the head coach.

The biggest problem by far is the QB being allowed veto power over running the play as called. And the GM that has forced that upon the HC.

Sounds like Campo.
