Great reply, Fuzzy... Thanks. I might add that this isn't something new for the AMA. They have recognized alcoholism as a disease since the mid-50's and drug addition, in general, since the 60's. Interestingly enough, most, if not all, health insurance providers recognize substance abuse as a disease. If there was ever a group that had reason to disavow substance abuse as a disease, it is health insurance carriers and, yet, they don't.

But yet he has passed every drug test since his last suspension. Will he ever translate his talent if he gets back on the field......not sure. Passing drug test though shows he is serious about getting on the proper path

It's not the pot itself that's the issue. Its his coping mechanism for his bi-polar condition that is.
