You fill in whatever blank you'd like. Talentless, clueless, classless.

Not a fan and would not like to see him associated in any way, shape, or form with my favorite football team.

Hope that clears it up for you.

Clueless & classless come to mind when I think of this post.

in the world of free agency, you just can't keep people. When people perform, they want to "and should" be paid. So you can't pay everyone. Understood. So it's up to your GM to make sure things work. It's up to them to draft good, but you can't keep them as well. You have to pony up, it's the REALITY. So maybe we think we can do better than Dez, still have to pay someone. Maybe we can survive with no pass rush, we've done it so far. But if we get in a serious situation and start losing cause we can't get a pass rush, guess what? We have to pay a free agent DE, which we could've just kept our own.

At some point, you have to pay people. Murray, most people think we can find walmart workers to do that job. So my point being, when you start putting together these contracts and all of them are free agents at once, you have a problem. My advice to the Cowboys, win a super bowl THIS SEASON. This team will be stripped raw next year.

I'm sure Romo didn't take a team-friendly deal, why should Dez? I know people want other people to take a HUGE CUT in their worth unless it's us of course. The bottom line is, Romo's kicking butt this season, but his contract is the reason other's may not get paid. It's just the bottom line. So I really hope he doesn't take a discount, I really want him here, but he has a right to make as much as he can before he's tossed out like Ware and others were.

And if Dez thinks that taking less money might allow the team to sign guys like DeMarco Murray and Rolando McClain, and he wishes to go this route to keep the team together because he feels this is his best chance of getting a ring, that is also his right.

Dez is going to make plenty of money, no matter what happens.

Tyrons agent wasn't apart of that deal I don't believe.

IIRC, the players association were not happy with that contract because Smith agent was virtually excluded from negotiations. That may be a overstatement, but it was something along those lines.

Did you suggest THAT to Romo when he signed his contract. I'll answer it for you, NO. Valiant effort though.

And for the record, Dez has a opportunity to make A LOT of money. I hope he gets it. Forget our cap. Dez has come a long way and any time a player has a chance to make money I say get ALL YOU CAN. These teams will cut you soon as you show a sign of a limp or age. I hope he didn't fire his agent to sign a "team friendly" deal.

Forget our cap? Good job. And congratulations genius...As his agent you messed up by representing the player you wanted here just left for more dollars somewhere else. Team friendly is the only signing the Cowboys need.

Disappointed by the discussion about jay z. Encouraged by the fact that Jerry is going around agents and just hittin the players up directly. If you know what you want, team knows what it wants to offer, other than the fine print what is the real importance of the agent?

I'm not suggesting anything. I'm just speculating on what may be Dez's mindset.based on tweets in this thread. If I'm right, Dez has every right to think that way. If it helps the team and makes it better, that makes me happy as a fan.

If Dez fired his agent because he wants $20M a year, that is certainly his right as well. Nobody is denying him that.

Eugen Parker is the same ethnicity. What has JayZ done?

Not a big fan of his music, but he seems as decent as rosenhaus. He showed remarkable class not ray ricing his sister in law when she went windmill on him

Jay Z isn't a business man. He's a business, man.

I'm not sure why people would be upset if he inked with Jay Z. Jay Z has the Midas touch going on.

Plus. He isn't the ****** that Rosenhaus is.

I'm speaking from the prospective I like to see professional players get compensated for their hard work and get the most money they can. I've been following Dez's journey for awhile and happy to see his progress from a young man to one of the most dominant players in the NFL.

The whole "sarcastic" tone of your post wasn't necessary. Cowboys can afford to reward Dez for his hard work and effort out there week in and out. They've giving LOTS of money to players who haven't shown the same traits. Jerry's pocket book is fine. He can afford it.

I've been saying it for a while, there is a lot more money to be made outside of football from being successful within football.

If Dez and Murray could work on their contracts together, this would help set this team up for a super bowl next year.

i don't mind this at all. but like @Clove said, romo needs to contribute as well. him and dirk have very similar parallels. if an alltime great like dirk can do it after bringing a championship here then so can romo.

EXACTLY. People want Dez to take a "team friendly" deal and Romo didn't and he was 32 years old. And I understand we've been getting our money's worth with Romo and he got what the going rate is for franchise qb's. But I didn't hear one mention of anyone wanting Romo to take a "team friendly" deal. NEVER.

You know i've always heard people say this about Dirk but Dirk is #5 ALL TIME of the highest grossing NBA players to ever play the game. So I always never understand what people say about Dirk taking a cut. He definitely took one this time but its easy to do when you have made over 200 million dollars.

To Romo's credit, he doesn't face nearly the injury risk or has he made that much money in the NFL. So I can respect Romo wanting to get his money.

I'd drink Beyonce's bathwater.......

I play the guitar and sing. I like to see what everyone's reaction is. I was with a big group of friends the other day playing Ed Sheeran's You Need Me, I don't Need You (he's a white, redheaded, British, acoustic guitar-playing rapper) and decided I would just throw in the first verse of Beyonce's Partition for the lulz.

Best reaction I've ever gotten. Everyone likes Beyonce, they just don't want to admit it.
