Kiffin would like to continue coaching when he finally wakes up from his season long nap.

How could they treat a living legend this way? Horrible.

He taught Marinelli everything, and this is how he gets repaid.

Is it an issue because he's 75, and they aren't renewing his contract? Or is the age not an issue, but the fact that they aren't renewing his contract that's the problem?

The Cowboys honored their end of the contract with Kiffin. So did he. He was a coaching free agent, and the Cowboys decided to move on. So goes life. No one is entitled to anything in this life.

Even those as decorated and accomplished as Monte Kiffin.

At 75 and still wants to coach, wow! It is obvious that football is a VERY important part of his life. Much respect and good luck to Monte Kiffin.

Come on he has only had 18 birthdays, he can coach for another 40 at least!

*Check his birthday if you don't get why I say that lol*

Monte Kiffin has had an outstanding career and I wish him well. But it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. In this ever-evolving NFL I'm much more comfortable getting a fresh, young mind in our system who can think outside the box and come up with new ideas.

I'm not shocked. He brought in rod and rod stayed so kiffin was expendable. His career will always be known for creating the Tampa 2. Man was a visionary. Wish he brought that magic to us but he's past his prime.

One thing that stuck in my mind about Monte Kiffin was when I read an article concerning him that claimed the players had quit listening to him altogether. That's never a good sign.
