I'd like to see that article..Might be a reason why we turned improved so much, plus having the McCain factor.

It came out many months ago -- can't imagine how to call it up. I've got the impression the upturn likely wasn't, by and large, due to his input. The decision that the organization made to let him go speaks volumes about that more than likely being the case. Reportedly, even Marinelli, himself, objected to the way he handled things.

The issue is that Kiffin built Marinelli, then Marinelli betrays him this way.

Kiffin didn't build Marinelli - that is shortchanging Marinelli's stake in his own career and stature.

So, Marinelli isn't capable of choosing to stay in Dallas without "betraying" Monte Kiffin? That makes no sense.

Kiffin got him the job in Dallas in the first place.

Marinelli came here as the DL position coach after a very good run at Chicago as DC that saw him put out top defense after top defense. He is well regarded as one of the better defensive coordinators in the league in his own right.

If I were to characterize it I would say that Marinelli was helping out Kiffin and not the other way around.
