I can't stand broaddus. I keep seeing on Twitter it's down to us and Texans. I hope he comes here based on his love for cowboys growing up

I don't get the hype on this guy. They let Murray walk after 1,800 yards. So, they are going to bust thru FA and sign this guy? I understand the Cowboys have a much better o-line, but all of a sudden Lamar Miller is the answer.? There are 4-5 Lamar Miller's in every draft. Draft one, it will be cheaper.

Here's what I can't shake about Lamar Miller. Go back and watch the 2nd quarter of Dallas vs. Miami in November. Lamar is going down the sideline on a nice run, and he motions over to Jeff Heath like "c'mon Heath hit me", Heath obliges and drills him, knocks him right into the sideline. Miller took the next few plays off. Jeff Heath! Dude was punked by Jeff Heath.

There aren't that many Lamar Miller's in terms of HR threat....4.4 40 at his combine. I'd love to have him in Dallas and avoid drafting a RB, but we aren't going to pay him what he wants.

Looks like we are up. He is out in Miami. Id love this move, and if you look at his twitter recently, you will see why this is gaining so much momentum.

out of all the RBs out there i think have been consistently underrated and would do well here, he's the one.

if we can make this happen and let mcfadden be the backup he was meant to be, i think we're closing that self-inflicted wound.

Any RB who seriously is considering coming to Dallas will have to agree to an OL discount. If you want
more money go to the Texans or Bucs or Miami.

Miller is younger than Murray.

Miller doesn't have as much mileage on him as Murray did when Murray's deal came up.

Miller didn't have the dreaded 400 touches cloud hanging over his head.

Signing Miller frees up your draft to take players at more important positions. I'd rather sign Miller and then take a defensive player or even say Lynch if he slid into the 2nd round than take someone like Henry in the 2nd round.

But with everything, it comes down to cost. I wouldn't overpay for Miller.

The lovefest for Lamar Miller must have something to do with fantasy football. Like they want to draft him on their team or something because I don't understand the lovefest of overpaying for a running back in free agency when we just let Demarco go. Granted, he's 3 years younger than Demarco but he's still a running back.

I'm expecting that the contract will have incentives in it for yards, leading the league in rushing, Pro Bowls, etc.

Sure could and it's likely if he's that good, he might get all of them. This OL should only get better and better.
Now if they would just move Leary to OG on 3rd down and 3 to go and put LC at FB, it would be 1st down every time

IMO Miller would be smart to sign a 2 year deal with us. He would be 26 when it ends and 27 when he starts playing on a 3rd contract. If he can total 3,000 rushing yards those two years in Dallas he should be able to cash in again in 2018.

But that's discounting the fact that the Cowboys offered Murray $6 million per year last year to stay, isn't it?

Well, he has averaged 730 yards per season. Can't wait to see the contract he gets.

If he signs, he won't get Demarco Murray money this year. Teams are shying away from big contracts for RB's. Oh wait, Jerry
is on the phone!!!?

And a RB that has done actually.....nothing at that. But he's young and if he only had the carries, etc etc. If he's so great why hasn't Miami taken the reigns off is my question.
