This is what Im getting from my Guy who works with the Cowboys. Rumor has it Henson is going to be cut and a Vet backup brought in. He's telling me that Jerry Jones tried to shop henson in the draft with no buyers and now they will probably just cut there ties with him since hes got an easy contract to back out of.

Also he told me during the Mini Camp Henson was constantly complaining about his injury he suffered in europe, some think as an excuse for his poor showing at the camp.

In anycase He tells me within 2 weeks henson will be Cut and that the browns did show some interest in him during the draft.

Doesnt seem logical, but we shall see. Thanks for the heads up.

sounds like more bs, believe it when i see it.................

he told me its definatly going to happen. He said Dallas is just keeping him around so he has time to recover completly from his injury from europe this way he will be able to pass another teams physical.

Yeah, but if we just cut him, why does it even matter if he passes another team's physical? It has no bearing on us..

I guess Jerry and Bill would like to seem him make it somewhere in the league .

This makes alot of sense.

My feeling about sending him to NFLEu was strictly to showcase him for a possible trade. After the experience with Hutch going to NFLEu and him getting injured and then cut..

..I see the same for Henson.

It was strictly done to get some other evaluation of him and more footage to look at hopefully to trade him to another team or make a final decision to release him.

If Henson was so valauble and if he was truely important to Dallas' season, you would never risk sending him to NFLEu where less talented players could get him injured.

Which is exactly what has resulted.

Dallas would hold on to him for another couple of weeks so as to let him rehab somemore and avoid an injury issue with the NFLPA when he's released.

I beleive Dallas is interested in another vet QB as backup. This makes total sense if they truely think they have a shot as a SB team this year. Romo can't do it over more than 2-3 games if Bledsoe went down.

The other teams would take him apart after they get enough looks at him and scout his tendencies and the limited gameplan that would have to be used with Romo in.

So this begs the question..who would they bring in..?

Hmmm...

If he is hurt when we release him and he doesn't pass another teams physical he can file an injury claim on us.

Plausible theory, except that Henson asked to go, was not told to go.

Here's another theory...after these are all theories.

Henson asked to go to NFLE because he knew that he wanted to get a new start somewhere and NFLE was HIS chance to showcase what he could do. Now he is asking for a release or trade...

:hammer:

I can't believe that there isn't one team out there that would offer a draft pick for him in trade.

And your insider was so right when he told you that Dallas would draft a QB.....

Throw enough stuff against the wall, and eventually something sticks, right?
