Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. When the season started, didn't they have people out on "fence duty" at regular intervals? Who do you think is sabotaging the prison?

The saboteur? Boy, hard to say, it's probably someone we would least expect outside of say the few characters that have been with us since the farm.

Is there a bona fide saboteur though?

In terms of the person feeding the rats to the zombies...it seems like they want us to believe its the 10-11 year old girl who Carol tried to get to kill her dad before he turned, but could not. She was the one giving the zombies names in the first episode and they made it a point to have her younger sister say "she's not scared, she's just messed up".

In terms of burning the bodies of those infected with the flu....they may have done so after the people had succumbed to the illness and before they turned....in order to eliminate the spread of more disease through human contact. I don't necessarily see it as sabotage or malicious, depending on when it was done.

Gotta say I'd have folks out at that fence morning, noon and night spearing the undead. To me keeping that fence clear is job one.

One thing that I don't understand is how the new zombies are able to know that that particular part of the fence was weaker and that by congregating in force they stood a better shot at collapsing it.

Also, how do the zombies survive if they cannot metabolize the food they eat? You'd also think that unless they can reproduce, they should be dwindling in numbers over time, not increasing.

I think the zombies were congregating near the point where they were fed the rats.

I don't believe they need to eat to survive--as evidenced by the zombies who become trapped in various places, but survive. I think it is simply an impulse.

It was a good episode. I enjoyed it and it's got me thinking big time about whose feeding the zombies the rats and if that person(s) is the same one(s) who burned the two bodies. I'm looking forward to Tyrese flipping out this next episode cause they burned his girl.

The rats thing I'm wondering if that's a ploy by someone who is working for the Gov. as well. That was one of my first thoughts. Due to the video they put out showing different things from through out this season, and none of them ever showing the Gov., has long made me believe he'll be working behind the scenes this season and won't appear until right at the end of the year. I am thinking he'll be one of the last shots of the season, seeing him return, to set you up for next year.

That's my gut feeling right now anyway.

I started thinking it might be the little girl who started naming the Zombies. Her younger sister said she was messed up or something. She couldn't euthanize her father earlier in that episode, and later you see her talking the knife back from Carol like she was ready to grow up. I think she's psycho still. Wouldn't surprise me if she was the one who burned the bodies.

The Internet scuttlebutt is that there is a saboteur lurking... But are we certain?

No not really.

There could be two people... one feeding the zombies and one who burned the bodies with totally unrelated motives.

The bodies could have been burned out of pure fear and not due to a sabotage angle.

Yep. The fence became weak there due to all the zombies showing up for lunch time.

I think if you look at the zombies of TWD present episode as opposed to say the first couple episodes it definitely seems that the dead are getting more ragged looking. Which is understandable.

In Romero's "Day of the Dead", "Dr. Frankenstein" made the statement, while he was studying/cutting up the undead that a reanimated body could remain active for up to a decade (I believe).

yea for sure, also I don't get why they didn't put more barricades around in front of the fences to slow them getting to it

I want to know who burned the bodies, and why? Who is feeding rats to the walkers? Where is this bleeding eye disease coming from?

Some interesting story lines so far, but I have to admit this season is starting off very slow. I can only hope the action will heat up soon.

I think Rick and Carl both have a little crush on Michione? Am I wrong for saying she's kinda hot, in a weird Ninja/ kick arse type of way.

Here’s an excerpt:

“There's a point where the number of able-bodied people is one or two. It gets to a point where Maggie is the only person who can actually fight.”

If they follow the comics in regards to the Governor then he'll make three attacks on the prison before he's killed. If I recall correctly he attacks the prison three times in the comics and is killed the third time he comes to attack.

If that's the case, depending on how the show decides to consider what is an attack, then the next time the Governor shows up could be the time he's killed.

Of course they could also decide that the first attack doesn't count as a true attack on the prison, since he never tried to come in, and they could always throw all that out the window entirely and go with a totally different way with the Governor.

My half-arsed opinion is that we'll have one episode dedicated to the governor and what he's been doing since mowing down the citizens of Woodbury. Another episode will focus on the governor and "get revenge" assault on the prison... Which will end the governor/prison arcs.

I could see that happening as well. That way there is some back story to what he's been doing and how he's been getting ready for the next assault on the prison.

That and maybe find some back hoe and make some pits to trap and burn.
