Spoke to my insider yesterday

honestly, it's replies like this that keep me from posting the few tidbits i get through the year, even when i talk directly to one of the players on the phone for a few shocked minutes. on my part. just not worth the flack you get to pass on what you hear.

then your probably taking it all too serious. I would careless what people say...if it makes you feel better to post something...do it.

Wentz is small time in a small-time conference lost amid the prairie brush. Put him in at Cal against the best players on the West Coast (like Goff) and Wentz would be totally lost. Lost as in Weeden's worst day. Worse. Ever see a 6'4" guy running for his life? That would be Wentz.
Anybody who'd pick Wentz over Goff is beyond help, is not living in the reality of college football, as in HE WENT TO N. DAKOTA FOR A REASON AND THAT REASON IS HE IS NOT JARED GOFF.

Romo went to Eastern Illinois for a reason. Kurt Warner went to Northern Iowa for a reason. Completely irrelevant except when people think they making a relevant point.

Thanks egn22. Don't let the negative responses keep you from sharing your information. Way I see it whether it is true, false or somewhere in between I appreciate it just the same. This is the offseason! What the hell else are we supposed to do but discuss this stuff? You got info from a source and shared it and there are many here that are thankful for that. those that aren't confuse me though because it's easier to ignore a thread you don't like than it is to try blasting the OP. Maybe they thrive on the attention. Ignore them and keep reporting back to the community any and everything you hear.

Trolling. You have to one of the most obtuse people I have ever read.

I am fond of you, too! But your anger can get the best of you sometimes. Odd that you would read obtuse people. Why? But at least you believe in diversity of thought, old fellow! Look forward to seeing you at the Cotton Gin and Trailer Hitch Expo March 23-26!

I went JC for a reason. No money and a small intellect. But I am learning and growing, thanks to good blokes like you!

This is nonsense as exactly I am talking about above.

You have no idea Wentz's motivations nor how he would fare against Div I types.

For anyone who wants to make an actual observation on how he would do against better competition I present the following:

I'm not angry. Try again.

I read it because you addressed me. I ignore all your other stuff and you know that. Carry on with your schtick.

Oh, I had forgotten: The point was an obscure term: Strength of schedule. I know, not well known, but I hear it will one day catch on.
When that day comes I might be on ESPN, or, worst-case scenario, "Valley Ranch Report With Vern "Bowling for Dollar$) Lundquist."

yeah, but its the offseason. Don't take it so personnally and ma won't have to increase the hypertension meds.

Jake Coker faced a murderer's row in the SEC.

Want him?

With our situation, evaluate the prospect. Not the competition.

Three years, it is not a damn debate.

You . . . ignore . . . my posts?"
Step on my dreams. Step on my emotions, why don't you?
You are horrid!
Horrid!
I am so upset I could box your ears!

And yet the bargain player was only slightly less effective than Murray and did so playing on an offense with two jokers as QBs and no Dez Bryant threat on the outside.

The Cowboys do not and should not invest a ton of cash into the RB position or use a first round pick on a TB. If they want to get a guy like Miller who won't be pricey or draft a kid like Booker or Prosise or Collins in the 2nd or 3rd or 4th round, that's a fine strategy.

Yes but it took half a season for you the other fans, and the dallas coaches to realize McF could run the ball as good as he did.
With murray they would have known game 1.

And with JG and linehan running offense they really need a strong run game, so it is worth more than u and others think for
a top RB.
you know it is just opinion, but 2014 proves they could win with strong RB.
They get rid of him, and presto 4-12, I think had Romo not got hurt, they would have been 8-8 to 10-6 nothing great but
maybe win the div and get beat in WC or Div round.

If Wentz was a classic late bloomer who hit a late growth spurt and he was also injured his junior year of high school. If he had played in the PAC-10, he would have won the Heisman Trophy and be the consensus No. 1 pick.

Yes, he did wonders for Bradford.

Exactly, he grew like 5inches after his Freshman year. Like you said he injured his shoulder and didn't even play QB his junior year.

Plus he is from N Dakota, not exactly a hot bed of recruiting. But don't sell ND St short. They are 5 time FCS champs and have played a lot of tough teams every year in the playoffs.
