Never have felt Tomlin was a great game day coach. Much less 5th best in the league.

Beat the 0-1 Orton was

Sure. But if Garrett went 3-3 with Orton this board would whine about ruining our shot at a better draft pick. I've seen it happen.

Yet Trestman does the same and he's a stud

I don't get the Tomlin love, either. The arrow in PIT is pointing down, and has been for a while now.

Really? ...funny I believe that most Fans would love a dream coach and leader like Mike Tomlin, it's the one thing this Team needs in the worst of ways to turn the culture and erase the face of the Franchise.

Something tells ya the Steelers are a lot closer than the Cowboys for many transparent reasons.

How many molecules r in a mole? The answer is who cares. Within a relatively short time he needs to be in the top third.

Yeah. Not a fan. But I thought Cowher was overrated there for a long time, too. I'm a huge Dick LeBeau fan, though. I'd take Jason Garrett over Mike Tomlin any day of the week. I'm sure that surprises nobody, though.

OK, 8-7, still in all, is it really that much different?

If, in this thread, people claim a player isn't responsible for a loss because he technically didn't start (but played much much more than the nominal starter) then, yes, small things like this are much different

OK, but that's not really what I'm asking. What I'm asking is if there is much difference in 3-3 and 8-7?

It's probably harder to go 3-13 than 8-8, in a league of parity you have to get kinda lucky to lose that many NFL games.

As most years in 2014 with Romo healthy you get 7, 8 or 9 wins.... without Romo you have a 3-5 win team.

I am not sure that they would have gone 3-13 with McCown but the good news is that it's a new season.
