It was mostly a joke .... But no I do not think Nash and Shaq will ever be able to work together.

Nash wants to push the Ball and play pick and roll in the half court.

Shaq wants to be fed in the paint and throw down to the cutter, at a much slower pace.

Maybe 6 years ago this duo would work .... but not now (IMNHO)

Well you could very well be right. I do believe that everyone will be surprised the next few months over what he can do. He says hes having the most fun hes had in awhile and his energy last night was surprising to most. He thinks its just a gelling process so who knows. I do know that they werent going to win it with Marion since he disappears in the playoffs.

Id give the Teletubbies a chance if it meant a change.

From what I've read many believe Shaq will do better running up and down the court as opposed to the side to side, grind it out halfcourt game. But the real question is can Shaq stay on the court? If yes, I think he can be a big addition to that team (especially in attitude). If no, well, then obviously not.

As far as the mavs ..... I think its unbelievable that they would trade a young guy on the rise like Harris for a guy at the end of his career like Kidd.

As a Spurs fan I am glad that Harris is gone because him and maybe Barbossa are the only guys in the league that can keep up with a healthy Parker.

The only thing I can figure about the Mavs trade, is they are going all out to win this year, because they plan on blowing it up and starting over next year.

Seems silly to me with all the young talent they had ...... oh well.

I agree with you. The loss to the Lakers wasn't even that bad last night considering how well the Lakers are doing this year and it was Shaq's debut game. I personally don't give a damn about regular season anymore. The playoffs is really when it all starts!

barbosa???? parker constantly abuses him and nash when he plays the suns dude. He is almost as fast as parker (parker is faster with the ball, barbosa is faster without the ball/in transition) but he cant guard him to save his life. The reason the spurs have killed the suns so much is because our 3 best players match up well against the suns, thats why i think the shaq trade makes the suns better against the spurs, because amare cant guard duncan, but shaq can....sometimes

ya, hey, its just one game, and you still got plenty of time to get him acclimated.

He is a Celtic fan because they have the best record right now.

Same reason he was a Patriots fan.

Cowboy Fan since I was 5.

Back into the Celtics when Ray Allen returned. As a kid to late 1990's a Uconn Husky season ticket holder and Ray Allen was my favorite Husky. Celtics are a hot ticket again. It's great for the NBA.

oh, also, barry got waived yesterday, and today the rockets offered him a great 2 year contract. So its gonna be interesting to see if he takes it. If he doesnt you know that there is some kind of deal for him to come back to the spurs.

In a related development the Spurs are talking to Dana Barros, Charles Oakley and Swen Nater about comebacks!

my brother was telling me today that the Suns are in strong talks with Barry and he may sign with them as soon as Monday....

I am hoping he sits out and re-signs with us.

ya, i would much rather him sign with houston than phoenix, he is a really good fit with the style phoenix plays. From what ive heard the teams trying to sign him right now are phoenix, boston, and houston, of those id rather him sign with houston

I truly believe he will be back with the Spurs, but I agree with you if he signs with another team I hope it's Houston because he would cause us less problems there.
