And you should changes yours to “I follow Khiladi all around the forum and complain about him hating on Dak”...
We all know you have a Romo pillow, but for the sake of the board, all you have to do is say it once and we get it. You don't have to go from thread to thread telling people you love Romo and hate Dak. We heard you the first time.

Its not about me liking Dez... Its more about other people making foolish statements because they are upset about his paycheck.
Has he performed to his salary? Nope...
Is he better than T Will? Its not even close.
So to hear someone call for Dez to suddenly be a rotational player while they say nothing about the guy on the other side that has never produced is a bit moronic. Surely you can see this?
Other than rookies, does many players play to what they are paid?
Dez was great with the back shoulder stuff but seems like now half his targets are down the sideline trying to out jump the cb

That’s a much bigger factor than most fans see
I’ve always thought the answer with dez is get the ball in his hands, not run him down the sideline and depend on him to out jump the cb
More crossing stuff, slants or what ever it takes to get him open. His strength is ability to run through cb’s not past them
The problem is that inside routes must be run with precision or the ball will get picked off. He is not known for precision routes.

I think they could give him a few more inside routes but it can't be too much or the defense will anticipate it and it will be a pick-6.

You know what fixes this? Switz. You run two Beasley's out there and see how the defense makes adjustments.

This crap about Switz is a rookie and therefore cannot contribute in any significant way until after a year in the league is total dog dookie on a swizzle stick. If the kid had enough skills to draft him, then why not have him stay after practice with Beas and they run routes with the back-up QB? Seems Irvin wasn't too good to do this.

Stack Beas and Switz at the line and see if the defense will commit four players to double these two guys short.

What does that do for the other WR on the field? TE's? RB's?

I think it's called being innovative. Shouldn't the head coach be the one who suggests thinking outside of the box?

He most definitely will.Hes still better than 90% of the TEs in this league. He is always criticized for not getting yards after catch but he catches everything thrown to him. He wasn't a big yards after catch guy even in his prime.
#82 has got about the most dominant stiff arm maneuver you'll ever see, problem is ,like you said,he's covered like a blanket most of the time, but when he's got some space and a head of steam, its a beautiful thing to behold.

With Witten struggling to beat single coverage it is really easy to bracket Beasley.
It seems like we have too many one trick ponies in the stable. Witten, Beas, and Dez run a very limited amount of routes and all 3 have trouble beating single coverage. Williams might be our most complete wide receiver, which is sad.

Dez runs slants, ins, outs, gos, fades, drags, comebacks, posts, flags. Witten runs everything he is just slow and unagile these days. Beasleys size is always going to limit downfield.

The main issue I see is that Dak's skillset does not match his receivers. We should trade Dez so he can get a better fit. Unfortunately it's selling low.

Yep. Nobody can blame Witten for anything. He has been the guts of the Offense for years. Nobody lasts forever. He has been an outstanding Cowboy and there is no way I could ever rip him as a player.

So dak doesn't like to "throw receivers open".. And yet the scheme won't use rubs so dak can see it happen

Agree. Others use rubs, stacks, etc. We run old patterns, and many times the ball is thrown behind the sticks or our guys circle back behind the marker to get open...

Too long, too slow. Wheres some Jerry Rice type routes for Dez or even Williams. We don't use it enough in my opinion. Rice wasn't a burner , but Walsh knew how to get him open and moving and Montana wasn't a great deep ball guy either, so
to me its more routes and scheme that we just seem to be stuck on predictable patterns that the oppositions D's know are coming
