That is pretty expensive. More money than Patrick Willis. If true, we overpaid.

Overpaid? Bollocks.

Salaries do nothing but go up, up and up in the NFL, mate. Plus, they had him cheap for his first few years because he was a 2nd round pick, when he clearly played at Penn State like a first rounder.

Good move by the Cowboys.

I'm happy he re-signed with Dallas. I always had it in the back of my mind that he wanted to be a Steeler and was worried he would be difficult to sign.

There are serious injury concerns that need to be accounted for. Paying him top tier MLB money doesn't do that.

Love that we resigned him before he went off this season. Nice contract and not much guaranteed money. Glad I purchased his jersey in April way before he went off lol NOW GET DEZ DONE

Well, for one, it's not your money, And for two, like I stated, there is not a player in the NFL that is guaranteed to play a full year!

Take this crap somewhere else!

Yep, if Willis was redoing his deal now, he'd get a lot more. As it is, he got way more guaranteed money and the bigger money kicks in only if he plays more than 80% of the defensive snaps. Good contract.

He has valid concerns. Lee has been injury prone to various degrees going back to college.

This is the circle of life on the forum with contract extensions. Premature contract extension to a player with concerns. "YAAAYY BUILD OUR TEAM AROUND HIM" A couple years later when those concerns pan out "OMG HOW COULDNT JERRY SEE THIS COMING!"

If there wasn't a salary cap, I wouldn't care. Since this will affect the team's ability to sign players in the future, I am concerned. Paying top tier money to a part time player is a bad idea. See Miles Austin or Jay Ratliff.
