I'd be stunned if Dallas went that high on Ware (2 for $10 mil). I think if Dallas signed him it would be for less.

I was thinking it sounded right but then I saw that Freeney only made a million last year and now I feel it would be an overpay.

Ware is going to make more than Freeney though just because he doesn't seem like he is going to wait until preseason to sign somewhere. If we don't make a push for him, he will be a Bronco or a Patriot within 48 hours.

Yeah, I think he would make more than Freeney but the back surgery is going to diminish his marketability. I'm thinking 2 years for $7 mill.

I don't know, Peppers signed a 3 year 26 million dollar deal when he was 34. Ware has had more injuries, but I would be surprised if its far less than 5 million a year with the increase in cap. If we got him for less its a no brainer signing.

Bigger question: Will he get his number "94" back if he signs with us?

Gregory has it. He'll probably wear #9, ya know, to keep the over 30, and on the sidelines tradition going upon Tony's exit.
