Six out of that top seven (minus Indy) are the top tier. All those teams are scoring 28ppg or more. The Cowboys with Amari Cooper are around 21ppg. That would put them around 23rd on the list. The Cowboys are only relevant right now because the NFC East is so bad. No one thinks they’re a contender.
I agree our offense stinks. And yes the division is down, and we're probably not contenders.
That said- would you be shocked if Dallas beat a team like say San Diego? Or Pittsburgh?
That margin of distance between elite and decent teams is fluid throughout an NFL season these days. And it is not impossible to cross it at the right time- for any team, let alone the Dallas Cowboys.
Right now, we are mid pack with arrow up.
If this team beats Washington AND New Orleans b2b to win 4 straight, all bets are off if we can get into the tournament.
