Washington looked horrible and they play right into our strengths.

Couldn't stop the run, allowed big plays downfield to the receiver, and Cousins couldn't complete passes against zone coverage and no pass rush.

They suck. I predicted a 4 or 5 win season for them this year and I still expect that.

Dallas gets right this week. Big week for either Dez or Zeke. I imagine Dez gets forced the ball more because Dallas coaches always seem to get persuaded by the media when they catch heat for playcalling.
Don't go by what the Steelers did to the Commanders, because Dallas is no where near as good as The Steelers on offense or defense...You couldn't even beat a pathetic Giants team...

Meh I don't really like the idea of starting Morris over EE.

EE's the starter. Give him a chance to find his groove. Morris can always get more touches throughout the game if needed.

We drafted the kid at 4 overall for a reason. I have a feeling that once he gets rolling most of us are going to want Morris taking as few snaps away from him as possible.

Not being able to tackle is not being able to tackle.. It translates.

The Steelers didn't even try to rush Cousins. We try to rush and we can't get there so our pass rush won't really matter.. If you want to say they cover better than fair enough.

Also, we play Pittsburgh this year and we will most likely have Romo so we'll see who is better then.

Not saying The Commanders are gonna win,but going by what the Steelers did should not be any sign of what Dallas will do..The Steelers are a SB contending team..Also Antonio Brown is better than any receiver Dallas has by a long shot..

Who thinks yes or no, start Morris? He looked pretty good against NY, not saying bench Elliott, just give Morris a few more snaps and ease EE into the starting job while watching and learning from Morris?

Zeke might start but, I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger and give most of the carries to Morris one bit.
If anything I would like to see an even split in carries between Zeke and Morris and let the best man
run.

Start Morris only because the defense is fresh. Once the defense is tired or when the offense gets a feel on what the defense is trying to do, bring in Zeke and use Morris when Zeke is tired.

I think Morris is a better running back right now and I think he should start. I understand the dynamics of drafting Zeke high and wanting to get that investment on the field with more carries and with the status as a starter. I'm fine with that too but it doesn't align with the manure that comes from the coach and GMs mouths all year long about winning but what's new.

I've been loving the analysis from the team site from Broaddas, Helman and others about there being no holes for Zeke and plenty for Morris. It's the same kool aid crew from before the draft with the Zeke is Jesus nonsense.

I'd start Morris but this organization would never do that. It would be like starting Butler over Twill. Not going to happen even though Twill messed up. Leary will never start over Collins again regardless of how bad Collins plays.

Like Archer said in his call in yesterday, you don't earn reps on this team. They are given to you, meaning if Jerry drafted you, you are gonna get the job.

I would or increase his carries......if his runs are like Game 1.

I am more worried about preventing an 0-2 start than Zeke having the starter title in every game of his career. Morris looked better Sunday, and I want to be up about 56-0 at halftime. As long as Zeke plays well, he can start again the next week. If the coaches want to save his ego, tell him it's because it's a homecoming game for Alfred.
Nah, you are way over blowing the one game and all of 7 carries. You can do much more with Zeke and the coaches see Zeke every day and in practice and how good he really is. You saw one game and are going off that. Benching Zeke after one poor start would be terrible coaching and send the wrong message. Who starts the game the first drive isnt going to determine who wins the game.

Yeah I would not bench Zeke sends the wrong message but I would also increase Morris's carries especially in this game. I want to see if he sends a message to Washington.

Honestly on a more sinister level I want to hear some of my friends who love Washington cry as Morris slowly beats them down in the 4th quarter muahahahaha

Sorry my evil alter ego came out there for a second but honestly who doesn't like to hear a Commanders fan cry

In a way, if Garrett wanted to be super duper clever, he would have Morris out there on the first offensive snap.

Just for drama value.

That would actually be super duper dumb to do that. A young, confident kid like Zeke that is supposedly who you are building your offense around you are going to bench after one game? That would the worst coaching move he could ever make. Now if the kid fumbled the ball 3 times and was missing blocks, then I might agree with you.

Nobody understands yet that running backs coming off the bench typically have more success per carry.

That is absolutely laughable. The Steelers are a SB contender and probably a top 3 offense in football if not the top offense. They would hang 50 on the Cowboys D.
