Rico has a little more pop. Use pollard still. Let him get more catches and jet sweeps and get him in motion too.

Gallup just isn’t clicking with Dak and ceedee and cooks need to get going . Tolbert and brooks have shown some flashes.

Expected compensation for Gallup? Idk liek a backup corner from Carolina or a starting linebacker from like chicago
This is the most surprising thing of it all. Gallup has been with Dak the longest, yet they are seemingly often not on the same page.

We're stuck with Gallup given his contract and performance. That's ok. Just don't target him like he's Jerry Rice. This has got to stop.

I loved the jet sweep to Cooks...really impressed by his speed.

Gallup is a different player, post-injury. Same with Dak & Pollard.

I agree. Pollard is more of a specialty gadget player. He works better when not overused.
And this was why using the tag on him and owing him all that money was silly. I hated that move. We moved on from Zeke yet turned around and have a Pollard a lot of money. You can find a Pollard in any draft. At least when we extended Zeke the first time, he was a monster for us and proved himself. Pollard never did at all. As you said, he worked because he filled in for Zeke when the defense was worn down. They were like Barber/Jones. Both worked great together. But on their own, not too good. No idea what his contract situation is but I would like to move on. Actually, none of our RBs do anything for me. Dallas offense has always worked best when our run game is good. It isn't this year. You could see from game 1. And this OL is very weak.

Another guy we gave an extension to after a major injury. He has never been the same after he got hurt. He lost what made him valuable. Our WRs got much worse once we traded Cooper, extended Gallup and signed a bunch of spare parts. We went with the quantity over quality rotue.

I was called crazy when I wanted to get rid of gallup right after we drafted Ceedee. Most cowboy fans have the same football knowledge as jerry. ZERO

There always has to be a target for many on this board. Such miserable fans. Was it Gallup's fault he was missed down the seam for an easy TD? Or that he didn't make an insane catch on another similar play where he was completed blanketed and was also interfered with? Or that 2 of those targets were slants that never should have been thrown? One hit him in the hands and he flat out dropped it that I recall. Last week I read Cooks being trashed on here by some. At least that stopped I guess
Settle down

Franchise tag is a 1-year deal. Pollard will be a free agent after this season.

Unfortunately Gallup isn't the same player he was before the ACL. He was a solid #2 who was good in contested catches but that isn't the case anymore. Would love for him to prove this zone wrong but until he resembles the player he was prior to ACL he should not be getting the most targets.

He’s not good enough to be your 3rd WR but he’s gonna get a starter lol

Yeah. If you were wondering if Pollard has lost a step, that question was answered when he got walked down on that 60 yard pass play, which would have been a TD for the old Pollard.

Gallup gotta go. That drop he had in the endzone was huge. That was the same drive we turned it over on 4th down. That was dak's best throw of the night and that would have made the game totally different.

I still don't get the hate on Gallup. They were forcing it to him for a reason: to open up the rest of the offense.

And it worked. When you force it, there will be incompletions. Yes, he dropped a TD pass. But targeting Gallup early and often made the defense have to account for him, which left the other players open.
This is a strange take.

I've never heard of a team forcing the ball to one of their worst WRs. Are you trying to say that the Chargers started doubling him every play because that is simply not true lol
