I just wish folks would simply call him Brad or Brad Johnson or noodle arm, etc., instead of BJ all the time. It makes the place read like a porno site for pete's sakes...

Good enough. :links18;2399854 said:What if we just call him limp arm?

Johnson sucks!

How does Pittsburgh have a Byron Leftwich, who was a high
draft pick with game experience, while we have the walking
"zombie", Brad Johnson?
Talk about a lack of foresight? Even the Giants have a David Carr
to back up Eli.
Why are we dealing with Brooks Bollinger-type players, yet these
other teams are better prepared?

I have been saying for the last two days, Brad has played his last NFL game, unless you want to count holding for kicks and I would not change holders for Folk until next training camp. Don't want to screw up Nick's timing.
Brad will not be a Cowboy next year.
Let the Bollinger bashing begin........:laugh2:

jobberone;2399976 said:That question may be better said as what QB could come in here at a moment's notice and perform? I'd have to say in hindsight Culpepper probably could have. But that is an extremely iffy statement.
My point being probably no one could have come in here and played well enough to beat the Giants not knowing the playbook.
The obvious question is why did they go with Brad. The answer is he looked good in preseason and made the throws necessary to manage a game. He just can't do it behind that line and likely not even with a healthy OL.
I don't think Bollinger is the anser either.
Apparently Beck will come here at some point likely offseason and compete for the number two.
And Jerry should take a hard look at his decision making tree when it comes to picking up and drafting QBs.
At this point in time in the NFL you must be able to pass the ball. I don't see any team being able to run the ball down the field consistently without an adequate passing attack. The rules are just too favorable to passing. I think Dallas 93 would have a hard time running without an adequate passing attack if they played now.
Right on the money. where are all those people now?a blind man could see Johnson was finished.zeromaster;2400036 said:There were a significant number of people on this forum in preseason that didn't want Carr, Leftwich, Culpepper, Simms, or others for backup QB. I hope they're satisfied.
