I keep seeing here people defending these 2.

It boggles my mind that 28 years of futility and they still have defenders on this board.

Let me put this into perspective for you.

Jerry Jones. A guy that has been around the league for years, and should know more than any of us do about football and the workings of the league didn't know that Chris Godwin played on offense.

Stephen Jones. The head personnel guy of the Dallas Cowboys doesn't know his own players names.

Now I have been in business a long time and one thing I know is forgetting, mispronouncing, or down right not knowing what position the person you are speaking to or about is, shows a complete lack of passion and shows that you really don't care.

If I were to go to a meeting and mispronounced or spoke to the wrong person, or addressed them by the wrong title. You better believe I am not getting that project, or sale. And probably wont be spoken to again by that company.

These are the faces of the FO of the Dallas Cowboys. The premier sports franchise in all of sports.

How can you honestly sit there and think that these morons actually want to win when they cant even get the simplest of things right. Like names and positions. Its crazy.

After Jerry's latest comments about the Eagles and Rams, I don't see how anyone can defending them. And honestly, I do not recall anyone defending them in this forum. They are taking a lot of heat on Twitter too.

I honestly think Jerry is past his "sell by" date. He needs to take some time off, like the rest of his life. But honestly, Junior isn't any better. In fact he may be worse. If Jerry is dipping his toes into the dementia pool, maybe in an off moment he will sell the Cowboys to someone else.

Even though what is said is true but also fan / media driven overblown crap as well.
And there should be no defending them, but how much hate can be thrown at them as well. (NO, that is not defending them).

It is the off-season, but come on. This will end up just the old whiny stuff. I guess fans need to vent, so can't blame them.

I am tired of their off-season yapping though. Just go and show us, don't tell us with the usual lip service.
We will soon get the ...we like our guys ...mantra, as to signing their own FA's, which is fine, but make it the right ones, and sign higher long term quality FA's. None of these 1 year prove it deals. Especially one coming off an injury.

I will say this though....when it comes to the Dak discussion....it is funny the same people who say he sucks don't factor in the incompetence of those two....and they are the same ones who will say let Dak go and draft another guy as if they are competent enough to do it. As if these isn't the same braintrust that tried to trade up for Paxton Lynch who can't even cut it in XFL right now. So I guess that's indirectly supporting them.

The FO of these 2 and their sound strategy is hearing their own voices. I think they may be hearing voices in their head telling them they are doing a great job.

As we should be. The issue extending Zeke wasn't the problem. The problem came drafting him with the 4th overall pick. The minute they did that they had to re-sign him. It would be stupid not to. And while people can knock Zeke and Dak's deals....at the end of the day their deals are not why the Cowboys are cheap.

As a matter of fact Lawrence, Collins, Jaylin and Cooper's deals were far more criminal.
